I don't get why "American Idiot" used the house curtain? I assumed it would have a show curtain and I was a little disappointed when I walked in ad saw the red curtain. It just didn't seem to fit the concept of the show.

To those who asked: A Little Night Music used no curtain, just an open stage with a chair for act 1, a black scrim during intermission, and a chair and trees for act 2
