It has never announced that it would not open. It simply reassigned new dates for tickets already bought because of the pandemic. Ticketholders were given 3 options (confirm new dates/exchange for new dates/refund)on what they are entitled to do. The exchange period continues as of now. The announcement of a new lead producer is presumably going to take place at some future date.
Well aware of ticket exchange. I've had mine since 2019. Many asked about opening ticket sales. One poster mentioned the delay was likely dependent on confirming a new producer.
I iimagine they have an army of lawyers working on transitioning Mr. Rude's control over all his shows. Not aware of any of his shows actively selling tickets: Mocking, MM, WSS, Mormon.
Technically-speaking, if you are a current ticketholder for The Music Man and you opt for the EXCHANGE option, they actually allow you to buy more tickets than the number you are willing to exchange for. In a way, they are allowing new tickets to be purchased. I thought that was a brilliant decision ( this has been ongoing since the first reassignment of dates arising from the first pandemic-related postponement) - it allows repurchase of tickets that may have asked for cancellation/refund or purchase of tickets that have not been previously sold. Twist of fate - but the opportunity presented itself to them.
That was why Jackman's reassurance that he will be part of the "rebuilding of the production" process was important!
I didn't put MM on the list because while we might not know when TICKETS go on sale, we were provided with dates on performances.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

Patrick Page just posted on Instagram that they are going back into rehearsal “very soon” for a fall reopening, with dates being announced “VERY” soon.

For a short time this afternoon, Telecharge had tickets on sale for Girl From the North Country for March 22, 2022 7:00 pm performance only. The link has now been taken down, but I'm guessing there will be an imminent announcement with that as their reopening date. Or, it could have just been a glitch.
Nothing at NWS seems to have announced reopening - but there is a statement on their website saying SOME of their shows are aiming for Sept. I
I'd just follow NWS to find out.

Jersey Boys has announced it will reopen at NWS on November 15. The Play That Goes Wrong is also selling tickets beginning October 15, although an official announcement re: their return hasn't yet been made. I haven't seen or heard anything regarding Rock of Ages.
I can see Girl From North Country waiting until the spring in the hopes that it can get a much-needed boost from any Tony nominations and possible awards. Otherwise it would close in January if opening this fall.

Utopia is changing theaters per box office rep who answered. I believe it was posted."
So, does that mean Plaza Suite will still take place at the Hudson theater this fall? I bought tickets sometime last spring for June 2021 and there was no communication from the theater since then.

I agree. Ticket sales were already soft right before the pandemic, but this show is really beautiful and deserves to be seen.

Except Broadway isn't opening until 9/14, did you perhaps mean October 2? Either way....do you have a source?

9/14 is the date Broadway can operate at 100% seating capacity, but no one ever said it can’t open sooner.
This New York Times article by Michael Paulson from a few weeks ago mentions “at least one musical is still hoping to get a jump on “Hamilton,” “The Lion King” and “Wicked” by opening even earlier.” so you never know

Man who answered said BO was not selling tkts for Utopia b/c show was moving to another theater, which theater, he did not know. He said any Utopia tkts bought online would be reassigned to seats in new theater.
I didn't ask why, but I presumed the move was for a larger seating capacity than what Hudson could offer Utopia. I didn't ask what was coming to Hudson next..
I bought tkts for Hades in Dec 2020 for June 2021 opening. I sought a refund from Jujamcyn in late March b/c it was obvious no show was opening in June.

It's very possible the capacity restriction could be changed or removed during summer.
