Sondheim and Ives' HERE WE ARE at The Shed — Page 14
Posted: 7/18/23 at 1:20pm
I'm in the queue, but apparently it's a random placement at 2 p.m., not first come, first served.

Nervous about not getting tickets as the $10 member tomorrow so I went ahead and bought the $100 level to be able to buy today. Crossing fingers I can get something!

Exactly the same!
The 15% discount that comes with $100 level also makes it almost worth it (and completely worth it if you're getting premium seats). (And completely worth it if you'd never be able to get tickets otherwise!)

Based on what I've seen, I don't think it's an availability problem so much as the system can't handle even a moderate amount of traffic.

Disappointing? I have a list of people I bought for to make sure they got to see it. That’s why the membership was purchased to make sure we could all get in. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Also, fair warning to anyone who purchases over the phone - they will not apply your discount (if you are entitled to one) on a phone purchase. You can still buy discounted tickets once you're able to access the online ticketing system, but the rep warned me that the phone prices would be higher.

How did you get in the queue ? I don’t see where on the site to do that

Same way the Ticketmaster queue is set up for an in-demand onsale. It's meant to level the playing field, and theoretically give everyone an equal shot at the best available when the onsale begins. Were you actually able to get in the queue more than a half-hour before the onsale? Ticketmaster queue usually opens up much closer to the onsale time.

Well for me, I paid $500 for membership, I'm coming from overseas and only there for a short amount of time (so I can't easily go throughout the run like people in NYC can or even inside the states). Plus I am among the biggest Sondheim fan there is. I think it's fair if I just want to see it twice
.

You don’t have to justify seeing it twice to anyone. It’s a public event on sale to the public. You could go every single night and you’d have absolutely nothing to feel bad about.
Posted: 7/18/23 at 1:36pm
Every time I click on the member presale button, I just get a blue rectangle pop up that tickets for builder 1 members go on sale at 2pm.
Is there something else I’m missing?

Other than it being kind of a "d*ck move", you mean?

How do you get into the queue? I don't see it anywhere.
Posted: 7/18/23 at 1:41pm
Jesus. Is there nothing else to be upset over today other than someone buying tickets for friends when they spent hundreds of dollars to be able to do just that?
Posted: 7/18/23 at 1:43pm
Sorry, I don't remember what I clicked on to get into the queue. Make sure you're signed in.
Posted: 7/18/23 at 1:44pm
When I (in my signed-in account) go to the page for the show, without even clicking a button it redirects me to this (sorry, I can never figure out how to work images on here).

Agree Jordan I'm doing the same but only 2 sets of 2

I was automatically put in it from the main webpage about 25 minutes ago.

I got in via the email The Shed sent on 7/10 - I think I clicked the "Learn More" button and it popped me into the queue.

People are seemingly very salty they didn’t think to split a membership with a group of people to get early access or want to make up some reason why it’s suddenly “wrong”.

For those asking: Logging out then logging back in, then clicking on the show title on the main page helped me get in to the queue !
Posted: 7/18/23 at 2:01pm
My estimated wait time is more than an hour! 954 people ahead of me.
