Orch, Row D, on the aisle (somehow managed to score a premium seat when it was released at full price. my wallet cried tears of sadness, but so worth it.)
I'll be seeing HAIR this coming Wednesday and am in seats M18 and M20....are these under the mezzanine and if so, is there any obstruction? (I can't find a chart that says where the overhang is lol) and I was also wondering if these are too far over???
Wicked Tour (2/26/08); Wicked Bway (7/1/08); HAIR (7/1/09); Rock of Ages (7/2/09); Wicked Bway (7/3/09); Mary Poppins Tour (8/2/09); Wicked Tour (11/18/09); Wicked Tour (12/5/09)
I sat in Row L one time and it didn't seem like the overhang was bad.
I'm a professional. Whenever something goes wrong on stage, I know how to handle it so no one ever remembers. I flash my %#$&.

HOLY WOW. That show was absolutely incredible. I had the most amazing time today. The show was absolutely phenom. Quick rundown - Saycon was in for Sasha. I can now say that I believe Will Swenson was ROBBED of a Tony - what a performance! The whole tribe was so great. I got a forehead kiss from Darius, which was super fun, and got played with by a few tribe members. Got to dance at the end, what an experience!
soooo incredible.
And taylor, Gavin came out today after the matinee, if that helps at all.
Yesterday i got my HAIR c.d., (along with the Actor's Fund recording and Gavin's c.d.). I tried to be totally objective, as I have seen the original, several subsequent versions, and have several recordings. I was blown away and really think this is the definitive version. I was excited to see this production, but now I don't think i can wait any longer.
I need help in deciding what tickets would be best. I have a choice among Right Orch. Row B. first row, seat 2(aisle), Left Orch. Row B, seat 1(aisle), or Center Orch. Row D seat 105. I am considering the first row seats on the right or left. Which would be the better? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

That's great to know, thank you! I'm so glad you had fun at the show!
I think what's great about HAIR is that all the cast recordings have their great moments. I still keep the HAIR OBC in my rotation with the NBCR and Actors Fund! They're all incredible.
tatter, I sat in D2 yesterday mat, it's a GREAT seat, so I can vouch for the even side. I think that Will spends more time on the other side, but I couldn't say for sure. You'll get great interaction either way.
If you want the best to SEE from...I'd go to row D.
If having specific interaction is importants....either front row is great.

And it's my fault because that's when I'll be in the city for my week long pilgrimmage!

I'm trying to plan another trip to see this show again. 4 times on Broadway and once in the Park isn't enough! This show has become quite addictive. I'm hoping to plan a trip for the Broadway Flea Market and see the Show a few times while I'm there.
