I'm glad I got to see Kacie before she went on vacation, she is truly one of the stand-outs and one of my faves.
I sort of wish that Gavin and Will (I think?) werent rolling around on the floor in the aisles during the beginning of "Air". It really distracts the audience from a great song.
I also appreciate her boldness in doing the nude scene topless, with the fake belly on.
I saw it Saturday afternoon for the first time, and it exceeded my high expectations. Jeez, that cast is unbelievable. Of course, Gavin and Will were phenomenal. I was disappointed I didn't get to see Caissie, but Jackie Burns did a wonderful job, you would never know she was an understudy. The whole cast was just amazing. I'm really hoping to go back a second time. Also, at the stage door, Gavin came out in overalls and a wig. It was pretty epic =)
According to the Hair Facebook page, the cast will be performing on The Early Show this Friday.
The cast and band of HAIR will perform live on CBS’s “The Early Show” at 8am on Fri 11/6 for their special “Time Machine” series, when the show will go back in time to 1967! Come out to the “Early Show” Plaza (the SE corner of 59th Street and 5th Avenue) on November 6th at 7am dressed in your best 1967 garb, with your peace, freedom and equality signs in tow and support the 2009 cast as they perform 3 songs.
With Ryan Link no longer with the show(for over a month), who picked up his covers for Berger & Woof?? Has anyone else been given covers recently??
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
Heath's last performance was this afternoon (or next afternoon, not sure), he'll be returning, but until then, it looks like Steel is the lone Berger cover.
And Michael James Scott is going to be taking over Tommar's track as well.
I did not get to see Heath perform in Hair, that was a short run for him. Did he get injured or just had a prior commitment? I wonder if they will bring Ryan Link back as an understudy for Burger. Did see Ryan perform as Woof and he did good, was not as comfortable in the role as Bryce but in time I am sure he would have been.
Heath might've just been a vacation swing cover. When Jay swung in this past Saturday he was covering Tommar's track in Act 1 and Maya covered it in Act 2.
Heath was hired as Anthony's replacement, Anthony left due to injury and has been out of the show since August, but I'm assuming since Heath is leaving this coming Sunday, Anthony will return next Tuesday.
My memory's a little shoddy with it being so early in the day, but the posters are going for 100. I think signed playbills may be for 40? I may be getting that confused with ROA. They are also selling the Carols for a Cure CD for 15.
why would they assume the entire US cast would transfer?? With the tour also starting up next year, that would require them to cast for both the Broadway production & the tour.

I don't believe that the US cast is going to transfer to London, but if they would I'd probably die of hapiness...Because London is not that far away from me.
Why are they transferring the US cast there? It's not like most of the cast are "name" performers. Why not just recast it in London? Kinda doesn't make much sense.
