These sources are usually incorrect. Some will be partially right but the actual nominations will come from people IN the business, qualified or not (and some this year are not, for many of these categories).

If you really don’t read the intro to that article, the headline is very misleading.
Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist.
Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino.
This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more.

We've already seen a tie in Leading Actress in a Play, given that we have 5 nominees. I wonder if we'll see that in other categories.
It looks like they've nominated a bunch of pairs already (Ryan/Schreiber, O'Hara/James, Rankin/Redmayne, Plunkett/Harewood). Maybe we will see Amber Iman since they didn't shut out Lempicka?
I for one am thrilled Eden got in, incredibly deserving. I was very scared Lempicka didn't get shut out.
I am sorta surprised Water For Elephants got in. I saw it early so it may have evolved since I saw it but it was definitely the show I felt the least strongly about.
Sad days of wine and roses didn’t get nominated for best musical. I’m kinda surprised Josh gad and Andrew rannells didn’t get it. I thought they were going to stack these categories.
Best Actress is going to be such a nailbiter. I would predict, without question, Kelli's second win if Days... was still running, but the show being closed for months now really hurts her odds.
That said, Kelli really does stand out amongst the pack with the four currently running performances. I feel the best odds fall to Gayle at the moment, but that can and probably will change over the coming weeks.
Also sad Days of Wine and Roses didn't get in for Best Musical. I hope Actor and Actress are between the couples from DOWAR and The Notebook. Justice for BDJ!
This is also the first season since 2017 in which all of the nominees for Best Play were American productions- no British transfers made the cut this year.
