I was amazed at all the video clips on YouTube and simlar sites featuring cast members from the different production of Jersey Boys. I thought it would be fun to begin a thread where everyone can share their favorite clips.
To get us started, here's a clip of Courter Simmons, Joey and Frankie u/s from the Sherry Company, performing "Let it Sing" at the One Night Only benefit that occurred before the cast left San Francisco:

Yay Courter! I've been hoping for more ONO clips. :)

Oh man that's horrible what happened to Erich. Let's all hope he didn't suffer any injuries, and if he did, they were minor and he has a quick and full recovery. Hopefully something like that never happens again to any of the companies.
On another note. Great job on finding more ONO clips. Maybe more from that night and a some from this coming Mondays ONO end up on youtube, or by some miracle, they both get put on DVD. Although I'm sure the DVD would probably never happen.

It's possible that they could do another public apperance, I haven't heard of anything besides the ONO benefit that's happening tomorrow. But if the attendence at today's show is a reflection of how the rest of their performances are going to be then they should be fine. From what I could see, the house was sold out today. And the line at the box office was way longer then I expected it to be when I got to the theater at 1030am. I don't remember the last time the line was that long, that early. Luckly I was still able to get a ticket.
Speaking of today's show, who was there and noticed the flubs that happened? There must have been a werid vibe going on at the theater today.

Me, but you knew that.
I'm 99% sure the house was sold out today. I heard a touristy lady complaining to her husband that she should've bought the tix earlier.

I guess Erich is using some of his recovery time to catch up on stuff. He just posted a few new clips from the ONO benefit on youtube. http://youtube.com/user/erichbergen
Hope you're alright Erich.

I forgot to comment on Jonathan Weir's take on Gyp, since no one else has yet. His Gyp is a mob boss to be feared. The moment he started saying his lines as Gyp it had a very sinister feel to them. If he was a real mob boss you wouldn't want to cross him because you know he would put a hit on you. And although I enjoyed both Joseph Siravo and Eddie Driscoll's take on take on Gyp, I think that Jonathan's is my favorite. He was also great in all his other characters. Yeah, while Siravo was more of a laid-back mob boss, and Eddie Driscoll was somewhere in-between, Weir is definitely scary and to-the-point as Gyp. His Gyp doesn't mess around. It's a nice take on the role.

Miles Aubrey was Bob tonight. Douglas Crawford was in Miles' track, and Jennifer Evans was in for Melissa, who I didn't get to see last Sunday either. I hope she's okay too!
ETA: Hmm... A comment from Doug on Melissa's MySpace says she's out until October. Anyone know why? I love Melissa.

A friend saw the show Saturday night and saw Douglas Crawford as Nick and Eric Gutman as Bob, for anyone who's keeping score. So I guess we'll see.
I also really enjoyed Jonathan Weir's Gyp. He was like Daddy Warbucks gone bad. That's really only a comment on his bald head. He was really scary. I'd thought Eddie Driscoll's was scary (I remember in Gyp's first scene, people would go, "Oooo..."), but Jonathan's is somehow scarier yet through being calm and still. Also, his judge is really irritable and has no Jersey accent.

I saw the SF/Chicago cast for the first time last Friday. Just have to add to the comment that I also enjoyed Jonathan Weir's take on Gyp. I have to agree that he plays him as a more bad-ass mob boss. Pretty scary. :)
Also on the Friday show, near the end of the show...there was a big bang that came from the bottom of the stage right before Bob Crewe inducts the 4 Seasons into the RR Hall of Fame. The guys actually came out a bit delayed than usual, even though they started right on cue with the music. They sang "Rag Doll", but as they were going into the conversations about coming up to the hotel room and stuff, Jeremy was holding onto the mic all through that dialogue and then through the characters' ending monologue. Then right before he exited after his monologue, he kicked off the base of his mic and walked off with the microphone & pole. Then re-entered with a new mic during "Who Loves You."
I've always read about how fast the actors have to think onstage, but never actually seen it in person. I knew something was up as soon as I heard the bang and was confused as to why Jeremy kept holding onto the mic. Bravo performance!

If she's out from now until October, I'm thinking it might be a vacation but that seems like a long time for one. Hopefully it's not some serious medical problem that requires her to take a leave of absence that long. Maybe she'll update her blog soon and we'll find out what's up.

Thanks for all the updates especially to Erich for posting more 1st National Tour ONO videos!
Yeah, when Joseph Siravo or Eddie Driscoll said, "Those guys, they went away, right?" I assumed that Gyp had made them back down and leave Frankie alone. When Jonathan Weir said it, I was postive that those guys wouldn't be bothering anyone ever again.
I would have to say that even though I enjoyed Joseph Siravo's "Tony Soprano" style or Eddie Driscoll's "thugged out Goodfella" style, Mark Lotito's "Businessman-type Mobster", Jonathan Weir's "Tom Hagen from Godfather" comes off as the closest to a mob boss that I've seen on stage with the Jersey Boys.
After the Jersey Boys Blog Fantastic Fan "East Meets West" meeting at the Curran Theatre for last Thursday evening's show, we just couldn't believe that Jonathan was a drama/theatre college professor in Chicago prior to this role. He's definitely genuine and a great person that is humble, but accommodates all of his newfound fans!
Apparently he was here in Sacramento seeing Hello, Dolly! last night at Music Circus. I didn't see him, but that's what I was told.
