"Way to fire last years sound people"
oh god, not this again. ugh!
"did Kristin forget her dress? "
she thinks it makes her look taller i think.
TheatreFan4 - hilarious about the colt walking for the first time.
- the best part of the opening number was Sean's piano playing. last year's was much better.

Posted: 6/13/10 at 8:21pmUgh. I would have preferred anyone but Scarlett Johannsen. And she needs to stop talking because they're going to run out of time for the actually important awards.

Posted: 6/13/10 at 8:22pmJan Maxwell, traditional broadway overlooked by Hollywood box office clout. I hope this doesn't follow for the rest of the acting awards, but I seriously doubt it.

Also is it just me or does the overall energy tonight seem to be down?

Posted: 6/13/10 at 8:26pmIs this all Million Dollar Quartet is? I saw them perform on I think it was the View and it seemed just as boring there as it does here.

Posted: 6/13/10 at 8:26pmWhat's with the sound? This almost made me turn it off last year..and last year was a GOOD season.

What a sucky opening number...totally pales in comparison to last year's, which actually showed Broadway could be exciting. Instead we get a snippet of Green Day on tour.
And worst part so far....FELA!!!! Good God, that was a truly wretched performance choice.

Posted: 6/13/10 at 8:27pmCould the sound issues be a local feed problem? It has sounded fine to me- much better than last year.

Posted: 6/13/10 at 8:28pmWhy does MDQ use actual stage mics instead of props? It would really cut down on screw ups.
