"Way to fire last years sound people"
oh god, not this again. ugh!
"did Kristin forget her dress? "
she thinks it makes her look taller i think.
TheatreFan4 - hilarious about the colt walking for the first time.
- the best part of the opening number was Sean's piano playing. last year's was much better.

Thats Joe Biden not Obama.
Ugh. I would have preferred anyone but Scarlett Johannsen. And she needs to stop talking because they're going to run out of time for the actually important awards.

Jan Maxwell, traditional broadway overlooked by Hollywood box office clout. I hope this doesn't follow for the rest of the acting awards, but I seriously doubt it.
Yay for Scarlett! Wow... shocked, but very happy !!!
i thought they only had 1.30
She seemed genuine!

That speech was ridiculously long. They cut off Elaine Stritch a few years back, but not her?
Ricky, you can blink once in a while.
good for Scarlett. they are letting her go on a bit. they will cut someone off later for that. I am liking this MDQ performance.

And the sound engineering mess continues!

What was that? People are talking but I don't hear anything...
Also is it just me or does the overall energy tonight seem to be down?

OMG!!!! The sound is awful...AGAIN!!!!! Can they not learn from past mistakes?
I agree with you completely TF4! How did this even get a nomination?
Is this all Million Dollar Quartet is? I saw them perform on I think it was the View and it seemed just as boring there as it does here.
What's with the sound? This almost made me turn it off last year..and last year was a GOOD season.
What a sucky opening number...totally pales in comparison to last year's, which actually showed Broadway could be exciting. Instead we get a snippet of Green Day on tour.
And worst part so far....FELA!!!! Good God, that was a truly wretched performance choice.
This performance is doing nothing to enhance my desire to see this show.
please tell me that MMQ is better in the theatre than on TV?

I forgot there was a female character in MDQ.
Well, he can play the piano without looking and standing in an unorthodox position. Overall, meh.
Could the sound issues be a local feed problem? It has sounded fine to me- much better than last year.

I'm watching and thinking, I'm glad I didn't see any of these dreadful shows.
Why does MDQ use actual stage mics instead of props? It would really cut down on screw ups.
