For a show where every dollar counts, and which appeals to frequent theatergoers, they are probably holding off as long as possible. That encourages people who want to see it to buy a more expensive ticket on Telecharge. Sell as many full-priced/premium tickets as possible before opening it up to severe discounts. This was the longtime strategy for TINA, which worked for a while.
Will be interesting to see its first week grosses in an hour or so.

I think when Tina started previews, Adrienne Warren was a talk of the town and by all means it was not an easy or cheap ticket to get. Wouldn't compare the buzz created by Tina back in late 2019 to KA now. Only people I know who will definitely be seeing it are true theater geeks and unfortunately they all are non-premium tickets audience

Being that this has 6 weeks of previews and is opening cold in NY, I'm inclined to give it ~3 weeks to settle in. Unless trusted opinions are rapturous out of the first few previews (which I hope they will be)...but with this show, there will be time to tighten and tinker with scenes & replace a song in previews should they feel that's needed.

I went today, and with the number of empty seats in the mezzanine, there really doesn’t seem to be any good reason it wasn’t on TDF.

Contact TDF for support. This could be a tricky way of finding out what shows are on TDF, without being an actual member.

Not available for TDF members, but & Juliet has been up for sale at the Times Square TKTS the last few days.
I can't imagine it'll be there long, though, if it's the audience hit it was in London.

Fortunately, being a grown adult, I had the right of mind to contact tdf support at 9am this morning and was waiting to hear back. I’ve been a tdf member for over 15 years. I have relatives coming in next week and they were inquiring what was available (last minute) as I could purchase tickets in their price range and we could go.
You’ll be happy to know your concerns of tricky business can be put to rest, as support re-set my account ten minutes ago. Also, the title of this thread is that of “the official tdf thread.”
I was almost certain that my (polite) inquiry on said topic would be appropriate as others have posted what’s available. Thanks again. Bless your heart.

Don’t even worry about it, that was such a bizarre comment. Glad your account is back up and running. Who even cares if non-TDF members find out what’s on there? 😂 I doubt it’ll make the difference between an entire full price ticket sale or not.

I saw Death of a Salesman on Saturday with TDF and got orchestra row D - almost all the way house left but I didn't miss anything. Amazing seat.

Can you explain what benefit a non-TDF member would get from knowing which shows are available on the site they cant access?

Most papering services have a policy where you aren't allowed to publicly post what shows are contained on that service. But TDF is different and considering that this whole thread exists where people share what's on TDF I don't see an issue
To answer the question, right now there's 1776, Ain't No Mo, Beetlejuice, A Christmas Carol, Death of a Salesman, Walking with Ghosts, Hadestown, KPOP, Ohio State Murders, Old Man and the Pool, A Strange Loop, Take Me Out, Topdog/Underdog. I didn't check dates on them so they could be more than two weeks out but these are just what's listed right now

Thank you, all! Most appreciated! I’m up and running now so hopefully we get some descent seats. Thanks again!
