re: The RENT movie date...

Speaking of cell phones, this girl in the movie theater when I went to see Rent was talking on her phone during OSG. -_-

See, if that girl had been sitting near me, I wouldn't hesitate a moment in telling her to turn her phone off. I just don't care anymore. I run into rude people like this so often in public, I just can't let them ruin my time. Plus...sometimes it's fun to be a bit mean to people like this. lol :-x

Re: asymptopes/language

sorry Fredi, not a young man, unfortunate b/c I'm in love w/ gay guys that I lack a penis

actors aren't allowed to stop the show if the audience is terrible enough? that's awful...if nothing else, ushers aren't doing their job. I mean you can say too many ppl bring in outside food, have phones ring, etc. but I don't give a ****, they should be thrown out. As it is the worst consequence from having your phone ring is dirty looks, that doesn't deter people enough.

And play-by-play? Oh boy...

adding to theater/movie etiquette. I was really surprised by the amount of people who had to get up in the middle of the movie to go to the bathroom. Is it so much to ask for people to go beforehand or during the 20 minute long previews? It's really quite distracting when people are constantly up and down.

re: The RENT movie date...

Wait I played the music man(as in clarinet, not the character, still not a man), why don't i know what you're talking about?

Oh how I echo those sentiments, Fredi!

Give up on the gay guys, hon. Take it from someone who's been there.

I used to fall for gay guys exclusively in high school..I dated 3 of my fellow actors who eventually came out...gay guys are just so attractive!

Hi guys - I have to run in a few to do You Could Drive A Person Crazy but I wanted to jump in. Did we decide on a time/venue yet? Dinner? Details!

re: The RENT movie date...

AH! I can't believe that, I wish I had known then...(I knew nothing of Rent at the time)

In that case, not to be a kiss-ass or anything :), but I can honestly say that I can trace a big part of my love of theatre and everything about it back to your performance. From the moment you hobbled onto stage I was absolutely hooked...to this day, now that I've seen SEVERAL bway shows, it stills stands out as one of my greatest experiences.

re: The RENT movie date...

I'm not entirely sure, but I think Megan Hilty got on some people in the audience during Wicked the other night. Someone was talking to her at the stagedoor and she said that people kept taking flash photography and someone had a camcorder or something because there was an orange light that kept flickering throughout the show.

re: The RENT movie date...

Yes Fredi better.

And I can't help it either! 95% of them are gorgeous and I have lots of sweet friends who I joke one day will wake up and realize they love me...yeah yeah big fantasy...but it's not my fault there hasn't been a straight guy(well that I personally know) yet who's done anything for me.

But it's okay Fredi, was it b/c of my icon you thought man? b/c quite often I get PMs getting hit on (of course quite a bit from cute gay guys) who think I'm the gorgeous man in my avatar! It cracks me up.

re: The RENT movie date...

I think Mandi is referring to one specific gay guy... re: The RENT movie date..., am i right, Mandi?

If I am...I think there are a few more reasons why it probably wont work out!

Wicked...

It's Mayor Shinn's line...

right after Zaneeta says "It's Capulet's like you who make blood in the marketplace" (or something like that...LOL)

Mayor Shinn says "Watch your phraseology!"

Just did this show this summer, so it's fresh in my brain!
