Jess, there is a link on the last page of the thread, I believe.

It's definitely Bailey based on that snippet... That makes me ill. Bailey is cute, looks the part and dances well... but the girl's voice is weak and her acting is weaker. She's great for theme parks, but not right as a leading lady on Broadway (based on what I've seen thus far, which is every episode of this series to date). If, indeed, Bailey is the winner, I'll be more than just disappointed.

Ah well... that's show business...

I still don't like Bailey's voice. She's a great dancer, good enough actress, good enough voice...but for me, Autumn's voice is so much better. I'd much rather see a show with someone who could really sing well. I'll be really bummed if it's Bailey.

All we can do is hope she'll be gone after those two weeks. And then perhaps Autumn will take over -- she may not be the STRONGEST dancer, but I do believe she'd get it and she doesn't look awkward. She is, however, a strong vocalist and probably the strongest actress of the bunch. They're shooting themselves in the foot by going with the look rather than the package. Why give a show to someone whose acting is her weakest skill? Makes no sense.

Again, ah well... it's showbiz...

Is anyone else disturbed by how often these girls break down in tears. I would worry about putting my franchise into the hands of women with such weak control over their emotions.

How often do women break into tears at broadway auditions?

I have a download link. PM me. I can't contain myself! I want to download that single! Four more days till the finale and five more days until the single is released!

Is anybody still getting the single regardless of who wins? I might. I definitely will if Bailey wins! If Rhapsody has it and Autumn wins, I'll listen to it first and decide.

I doubt very highly they'd can her after two weeks unless she has real difficulty showing up consistently. That would be like admitting the entire experiment was a failure.

She'll (whomever it is...I have a hunch it's Bailey, but a case can be made for it being Autumn) get a regular contract, I'm sure.

If Bailey does win and isn't very good, do you think they will still keep her if she continues to sell tickets? She has a lot of fans on the MTV website and I think a lot of little girls will talk their parents into taking them to see the show. I also wonder if they will pull another "Grease you're the one I want" stunt and have the winner play Elle for a while and then go through the other contestants so that they can keep selling tickets to the other fan bases.

To me, it doesn't take a Broadway casting director/director/choreographer/book writer/random cast member to figure out that casting a 20 year old opposite a 33 year old (Richard H. Blake) and saying they are the same age doesn't make sense. Not to mention that Christian Borle is 35.

This isnt a normal broadway audition! They are in a very intense process that is way more drawn out than most broadway auditions..... I think anyone would be an emotional mess after getting that far and working that hard.

Most Broadway auditions don't involve what is happening on this show, especially the part about having video cameras in your face all the time.

"doesn't work - there is nowhere to download the clip..."

Yeah there is. It was difficult to find at first, until you clicked around.

On the almost top right corner next to the MegaUpload icon, it will say, "Please enter [three random letters] here," then a box where you have to type those letters. After that, press download, and it will take you to a page that gives you the option of premium or free download. Obviously, choose the free one. re: The Search for the Next Elle Woods: The Spoiler thread

Absolutely. Unless she doesn't show up, if she's selling tickets, they're going to keep her there. Look at Grease...that got abhorrent reviews, and Max Crumm's personal reviews were terrible (Osnes made out ok), but they didn't can him, because people wanted to see the actors who won the tv show.
