CarymetoRent,
Where did you hear this. My one pet peeve in this thread has become that people are just saying that they heard this information without saying where.
And, I wouldn't say that anything that is on the facebook wall of any of the girls in the reality show passes as accurate information. I have gotten the impression that there are some of them who add whoever and accept anyone to see their profile rather then just friends/family. If that is the case then random people could be saying cograts because they think that they would be great as Elle. Or they are saying congrats because they are on the show etc. It could be for a number of reasons and because it has been said that some of the girls are adding anyone I wouldn't say that anything that is on their facebook is accurate information.
I find it sort of ironic that Jerry Mitchell will be single-handedly choosing the winner of the show, yet he hasn't been present for any of the "auditions" the contestants have had thus far.
SomethingWicked.
In the first episode when they are introduced to the judges for the first time. He says that he is going to leave it up to them to decide the winner.
Tilda Mullen, as someone corrected me earlier in the thread. Just because Autumn is doing a reading of Vote the musical doesn't mean anything in regards to her winning or not. There are plenty of actors who do readings for a show while they are in rehersal for another. Happens all the time. Her doing a reading for Vote has nothing to do with her winning the contest or not.
I think it will be Autumn for the simple fact that the producers aren't going to risk their show by putting it in the hands of a 19 year old. Young, inexperienced, immature. Not that there isn't an ability, but there is a naivety that shouldn't be over looked.

I just saw the repeat for this week's episode, and I have to say that I'm glad Emma's gone. She feels this sense of "entitlement" to the part, simply because her family is in the business. Cassie S. (the brunette) had the same sense of "entitlement" just because she worked hard. I love how both girls found fault with everyone else...but themselves. I think maybe these girls would have stayed around longer had they not made excuses for everything...and had been a tad more humble. (Okay, a LOT more humble)

I can't picture Lauren as Margot, but then again no one else pictures Rhiannon as Serena but me :P

Why is Lauren too young for Elle but not too young for Margot? They're the same age.
Technically they never really say how old the other Delta Nus are. They could be anywhere from 18-22. Elle is a senior but Margot could be a sophomore. They're just in the same sorority.

In the movie, she's getting married.
"In the movie, she's getting married."
In the movie, Elle had a way better character arc.
Things change.
not sure that marriage defines someone's age - i know people who got married the summer before our senior year in college, at 20 years old. i also know people who waited until they were 40 to get married (and yes, obviously margot isn't 40).
so i'm not sure that her getting married makes her a certain age. i'm guessing she's probably elle's age, maybe a year younger...
i know this isn't solid evidence but i'm almost positive that autumn is at least living in New York right now, which could mean she's in rehersals for the show? idk but she did an episode of The Battery's Down which is filmed in the city, here's the video and apparently she knows dani who is a swing in the show

I'm pretty sure Autumn lives in New York anyway, and did even before all of this...
yes she lives in NY and has even before the show was filmed. So that is not necessarily evidence that she won. Bailey however has recently moved to NY. Although I think its just to work on her career not necessarily because she won.

I think the age factor, concerning Lauren, makes a big difference. Margot is not supposed to be as mature as Elle, show as much emotion, or go through any growth. She's comic relief. The role of Elle is much more demanding physically and vocally. So it's much easier to have a young girl play Margot than it is to have her play Elle.
That being said, good for Lauren! I couldn't believe the girl (Celina, maybe?) who complained that no one wanted to be in the chorus. They should be happy for any role and a secondary character on the tour (with the possibility of going on for Elle, right?) will give her a lot of good experience.
That was Cassie S who said she would never be an understudy or the like. She ONLY wants to be the star. *rolls eyes*

Kelly2: Touche.
I guess I'm just upset that Lauren can't be Elle on Broadway because she reads so young. You can look younger than you actually are. I'm a college senior and I look like a teenager.
I hope that she gets to play Elle when she's older, whether it be on Broadway or on tour.

I agree with you though, I do think Lauren is one of the most talented girls there, her and Natalie are my favorites. It's not so much that she reads too young for Elle in general, in my opinion? But put opposite Christian Borle, Richard Blake, Kate Shindle, etc, most of which are supposed to be the same age as her? It would look a little strange.

My sister saw Natalie at a Hairspray audition a few weeks ago...so I guess she gets voted off.
Cassie S. said she would never be a swing or an understudy.
Celina complained about having to sing backup during the OMG...number because she was "not some chorus girl."

Kelly2: That's true. It would make Emmett and Warner look like perverts, I suppose.
They don't show it for some reason, but I think that Jerry was at all of the auditions. On one of the full clips on mtv.com (I don't remember who or what week) they showed him sitting in the audience a couple times.
