so the other night I was in the city. so I decided to stagedoor at his show (mainly for Krysta because I enjoyed smash ) Krysta was very nice (the other cast members also signed for me even though I had no idea who they were). BUT Zachary refused to sign for me because I did not see the show
I also understand you need to show a playbill or ticket stub to get a pic with him
have any other bigger actors on broadway ever done this?
Ben, i will tell you that Zach and Krista are among the friendliest and most accomodating stars out there. I went twice, and both times were mobscenes outside the stagedoor. they spent over an hour signing, taking pics, dancing, chatting with everyone.
I cant really blame him for not wanting to sign for every Chuck or Thor fan out there. he puts in way more time then anyone could ask.

Dan Radcliffe did that during Equus. I don't blame them. It's not a Comic Con, it's a chance to thank the fans who came to see the show.
You didn't see the show so you shouldn't expect anything from him. He's been extremely nice at the stage door staying for nearly an hour after the show to take pictures with every single person. Just because you want to get the autograph of someone whose show you didn't support don't act like he's the @ssshole here.
I remember reading, I think it was on here, someone pointing out that there were nights he would stay out for more than 90 minutes signing and taking pics, which is actually longer than the show lasts. If he's organized about what he will or won't sign, and then very thorough within that rubric, I think that's the way to be. I'm glad he didn't sign just anything put in front of him.
"the other cast members also signed for me even though I had no idea who they were"
Jesus Christ...
What did they even sign? Your cast?

Chiming in with the rest that no actor owes anything to people who didn't see the show. If other actors did so, that's their right but it doesn't make it a rule for every actor and it doesn't make the actors who say "no" bad people.
Zachary Levi is extremely generous to everyone who comes to the show and spends a lot of time at the stage door. See the show if you want his autograph or a picture with him.
I think the point is: why would you want the autograph of people that you don't even know?
Quinto is a much bigger star? "Much Bigger" meaning: not at all? I doubt more people know Quinto over Levi.
It comes to this: you didn't see the show, why does he owe you anything at all? THAT'S what the stage door is for, those that patronized the show. (Well, the stage door is really just an entrance/exit for a building.)

Because I would of been the rude one if I told the other actors to
Move on I don't want your autograph.
If Levi just signed for me this post would not exist.

And if you had an once of brains, either would this thread
Dude, he doesn't owe you anything. No one does. He has been passionately asking people to buy tickets for the show, and he is very good to his fans. You did NOT buy a ticket to the show he is starring in. The reason he was there....at the stage door in the first place. Your sense of entitlement is very obnoxious.

So is life.
Stop acting like he did something wrong to you.
You were the one who disrespected him by not even buying a ticket to his show..

Really 2 sides to it some people would think make everyone happy why piss someone off by not signing it takes 2 seconds. And some people would do what Levi did.
No, there is no 2 sides.
HE OWES YOU NOTHING.
Man, you are one self entitled human.

He doesn't owe me anything but when your an actor you want people saying positive things about you. I am not telling people to see his show after what he did.
I am not telling people to see his show after what he did.
*rolls eyes* Oh, please.

The rest of the cast, including Krysta Rodriguez, was willing to sign for you, were they not? It's THEIR show, too, not just Zachary Levi's.

This is the dumbest thing to post. First off, I've see First Date twice. Zachary levi is without a doubt the nicest celebrity. He cares so much about his fans. He makes sure everyone that sees his show gets an autograph and a photo if they want. He will stand at the stage door for over an hour to do this. If you don't see the show I've heard him say to people he's so sorry but he's unable to sign or take a pic because of that. But, he says he will if you see him in the city alone. #1: a lot of broadway celebs won't sign at the stage door to begin with EVERY night not because they don't love their fans, but because it can't hurt their voice and they can become ill. #2 you are so selfish. You didn't even see the show which most likely means you don't even care about him too much. All you want is attention and pity for your sad sob story that a celebrity didn't pay attention to you because you didn't "pay attention to his show" this is so dumb to make a thread about and it angered me to see you constantly bashing someone that of all people truly does care about their fans unlike a lot of other celebrities
"He doesn't owe me anything but when your an actor you want people saying positive things about you. I am not telling people to see his show after what he did."
No one cares what you think. You can tell the entire world that Zachary was mean to you and it won't affect their ticket sales one bit.
Man, you really are a pice of work.
