"and Emcee's photo-taking skills aren't too shabby either, as evidenced by the pic of me and Daphne)."
Well thanks! Emcee's being-in-picture skills, on the other hand are very shabby.
My friend (who FINALLY joined) just printed out a picture of me and Adam from that show... I look about as exhausted as I was. I guess that's what not eating for 24 hours does to you.
And yay for opening the CD, NTG!

Posted: 10/30/04 at 1:11pmOh, shush, Emcee..if it's the picture you showed me, you look about as gorgeous as you are. The not eating thing, though...that might be a good thing to work on.

I can't believe I missed all of this! Gee, now I'm in the mood to listen to Rent. (I see where you are coming from Anthony, but to the average listener like myself-It sounds damn near perfect.)

Posted: 10/30/04 at 1:22pmI too can't believe I missed all of this! Just goes to show that I should stop spending so much time on the Off-Topic board. I'll try to stick around this time.

Okay, I already posted, but I didn't introduce myself, and now I feel rude. SO...
My name is Jessica and I'm 19. I'm originally from Missoula, Montana but now I go to school in Middlebury, Vermont. I'm actually pre-med and a religion major with a focus in ethics, but I do theater on the side. Mostly tech and directing, but it's a blast.
Thanks again for posting!

Ok, I am 16 and live in VA now (born in CA, also lived in CO and Thailand...long story). I am obsessed with New York and can't wait until I can move there. I want to go to NYU and I love to write. hmmm....I also love to dance, but can't right now because my knee got messed up last week and I can't walk until I have surgery next Friday
Anthony- First of all you would have been AMAZING as the emcee!!! I wish that had worked out. Also, I was wondering who you personally would choose to cast for the movie. (Especially for Mimi, Angel, and Joanne since we haven't heard any official possibilities for those). Thanks :)

To everyone who said they love the RENT cow: it is most definitely my favorite pice of merchandise I own. Well, aside from stuff I've gotten signed...but anyway...I was gonna get a Wicked monkey to go with it, but those things are ugly...I was very disappointed.

Hi, I am so wishing I didn't go to sleep...Anthony I am so excited with your news of the movie and I second the question of if your dressing up for Halloween.
And about me, for anyone who wants to know. My name is Katherine-Grace (the parentals gave me a long french middle name too which is hell to fill forms out with) I am 20, I was born in NYC and was a baby model/theater child till I was 8. At that point I was completely burned out and being pushed too hard for a kid (by forces other than my parents) and I moved to Atlanta, where I danced with the Atlanta Ballet for 7 years (actually with Tyler Hanes if anyone knows of him). I came to Boston for school last year (just got back from the parade, Go Sox!) and have recently rekindled my love affair with the theater (hence the presence on the boards). Actually Rent had alot to do with that, but that's a whole nother story...I'm not currently studying theater in school, but I am taking classes again and doing small low-budget shows in Boston.
I know I'm a pretty boring person these days, but welcome Anthony and thanks for posting!

Well, it's hard to stay on topic when Anthony's not here and the thread is centered around him! But I'll ask him a question anyways to answer later. Anthony, what's your favorite show on Broadway right now? Have you seen Idina in Wicked? (I'm a big fan if you couldn't tell)

I love the RENT cow even more than I love the Chick-Fillet cow that urges us to "Eet mor chikin!"
Anyhow! I know I'm really late getting on this, but thank you so much to Anthony for completely making my day, my week, and my however long this good-news high lasts. The last twelve hours or so have found me bouncing off the walls and making some very happy phone calls to equally as excited friends.
Your posting here makes me want to go out and do something that will make someone's day. (Aah, 'Fish' reference!) Maybe I'll sell tickets to someone who is really enthusiastic about the Nutcracker and Junie B. Jones... Who knows?
Whether or not it'll make someone's day, I've got to be off to the PAC. Best of luck in Little Shop, and thanks again!

Hi all -- just got up a little while ago, and I may not be able to get to everyone's questions before leaving for my matinee. But I'll get to as many as possible... Sit tight...
Thanks, as always, for your interest and kind words and all that.

i actually have to amend my previous statement... I won't be able to really get to any of the questions before leaving for the theatre... Sorry... See you all later. It might be a while, what with two shows and all.
Thanks, have a good day.

Sorry to overwhelm you with all of this... I will keep my intro short: I'm stuck in Ohio in the heart of Republican country and I would love to leave. I'm into technical theatre and am pretty much just concentrating on making it through highschool. Favorite books- Gone With the Wind, the Godfather, a number of fantasy series, the Lovely Bones. I'm trying to read Clockwork Orange.
An odd question, but something I would like to know: How do you eat Oreos?
