Wait... just read the Rent News thread Wilson has been offered the part? REALLY?!? Where has he been all this time? That man has way too much talent to not have continued broadway longer after Rent... what has he been up to? There have been some interesting rumors concerning his wherabouts...
Oh man now I want to know who the mysterious Mimis are... I might be able to figure out the 2 who have played Mimi before are if Anthony will say if he's worked with either of them before, but if he can't tell then thats okay.
I wonder if it's Yassmine Alers or Shayna Steele? Just a wild guess

Posted: 11/4/04 at 10:35pmShayna Steele has a great voice but i saw her only once as an understudy for Joanne and she was awesome! Maureen was played by Kristen Lee Kelly who is the best Maureen there is.

Well.
If he wasn't scared yet..he should be by now. :)
New Kids on the Block. You know, somewhere in some dank, deep, dark parts of my basement, In a box under the cement of the back room, I still have a VERY old night gown with NKOTB on it :) Joey McIntyre, you're my hero. You'd think I would have seen him in Wicked by now, but meh. I'll wait to see if Adam does Fieryo.

"I'll wait to see if Adam does Fieryo"
ahhhhhhhh! Don't bring it up!
*dies laughing at the prospect*
After seeing Wicked again the other day, it's just too funny now that I can picture it, though I love Adam dearly.

Hello Anthony!
I first of all want to say that me and my friends are very sad that you won't be coming to Nashville with LSOH in January, but we are very excited that you are going to be in the RENT movie.
Now for my question. I don't know if you remember, but a while ago you did a theatre workshop here at Middle Tennessee State University. I was wondering, do you still do workshops anymore, and who would we need to contact about scheduling that if it is possible?

Rclocalz --
I do workshops as often as I can when asked, but now my schedule's going to get pretty crazy for awhile.
But I'd be happy to do something if at all possible.
The pm feature here on BWW is as good a way as any to communicate with me about those kinds of things...
Thanks for your interest.
And to the rest of you... Thanks for your patience! I have been happily getting out and about here in the very lovely city of Seattle, and have not had enough time to sit in front of my computer and type all those damn answers!

ok those last couple of pages just scared me.
Anthony- If you could make a dream cast for RENT, who would play each part and why? You can't choose yourself either. Sorry, I'm being mean. (You would be Mark in my dream cast.) Thanks so much!!

broadwayguy2's a suckup.
Glory, the names tossed around as potential Mimis are Antonique Smith and Jamie Lee Kirchner.

I really really hope...
Guys...not to sound overly bossy...but do you think we could maybe hold off on asking new questions for a while and give Anthony a chance to catch up? He's made it pretty clear he's not just going to disappear so...

"unlike some posters, broadwayguy2 will never brown nose. it gets you nowhere and nothing except sore knees and a brown nose. i would much rather state my honest opinion about people, shows, etc and earn respect for being honest. whether i am liked or disliked by some people for it, at least i will get respect for it."

I agree, NTG. Maybe we should move our chitchat to another thread?
