Snow day? WTF.
College never gives snow days. XD Or at least, Pittsburgh doesn't.

Today, after arrive at school with insane rain, flooding, mud slides after the 90 minute delay, I trudged through school...came home, waited in the cold for my father, and then went back through the lakes on our road. Insanely deep water. If you opened your door, it would flood the car. It was like a mini ocean, waves and all! And now I'm eating a sandwhich.

Heh, snow days are one of the perks of being in high school.

Oh man, I remember snow days in HS.
But they got annoying after awhile because especially if they were a couple days in a row. I got bored really quick.
VivaBohemia - I KNOW WHERE GERMANTOWN IS!!! I have friends from college that live there. And a couple friends in Harford County. Oh, I'm in Chambersburg about 20 minutes from Hagerstown, MD. I think I'm about 2 hours from you.
I'm SO glad to be home!!!!
keep smiling,
bika

Snow days? *grumbles down in cold, but sunny Florida*
Now, onto the original idea behind this post: Thor.
Is it just me or does Thor, God of Thunder, seem to be a recurring theme in Anthony's roles.
1. Adventures in Babysitting-Sarah is obsessed with Thor ('cause he fights the forces of darkness. Forces of darkness, beware! ...I swear I'm done)
2. David Searching-While discussing Gwen's boyfriend and his...erm, mating habits, she likens his approach to lovemaking to Thor, much to David's disbelief (and did I detect some jealousy too?) This part also provided my new subject change *points and preens*
3. Hedwig and the Angry Inch-In "Origin of Love", Hedwig mentions how Thor wanted to kill all the humans, but Zeus said no and chopped us in half. (If you're very confused, listen to the song. It's wonderful, especially when Anthony sings it)
So there you have it. Recurring themes. As John Cusack has Cassiopeia (don't ask because I'll go on for an HOUR about it) so does Anthony have Thor.
I think John may have got the short end of that stick. *grins and winks at Anthony...cause she can*
2. Great buckets of Spoffnor, they're going to sing!
3. "I love shrubs that are historical." -Johnny and The Sprites
4. "We're not singing it to you, we're singing it for us." -Rosario Dawson, about La Vie Boheme
5. "The best moments in reading are when you come across something - a thought, a feeling, a way of looking at things - which you had thought special and particular to you. And now, here it is, set down by someone else, a person you have never met, someone even who is long dead. And it is as if a hand has come out, and taken yours." -The History Boys
6. "Pass the parcel. That's sometimes all you can do. Take it, feel it and pass it on. Not for me, not for you, but for someone, somewhere, one day. Pass it on, boys. That's the game I want you to learn. Pass it on." -The History Boys

I've often wondered about the "recurring theme" of Thor in Anthony's roles. Especially after hearing 'Origin of Love'. I'm glad I'm not the only one that has noticed this.
Thor looks angry.

Posted: 12/16/05 at 3:49pmThere's nothing quite like coming home from my last final and being greeted with a Thor action figure. Well done!

Posted: 12/16/05 at 3:52pmYes, that Thor pic was wonderful and unexpected as I caught up with the day's posts. VivaBohemia: I live in Olney! I go into Germantown occasionally.
Fan: Oh my god! You're, like, standing right there and, like, looking right at me and, like, oh my god! Anthony Rapp: Yes, that's a pretty accurate discription of reality.

Random thought that came with scrolling:
Do you think Anthony ever gets weirded out by seeing his face all over these boards?
I know it would get to me after a while.

Posted: 12/16/05 at 5:51pmI didn't have a snow day today, but it was raining all day and during 3rd period, the lights flickered. Me and my friend hoped they would go off, but they didn't. Then I had a history test last period and I think that went okay. You guys who had the snow day are so lucky! lol.

*sticks head out of cave*
Le sigh. *waves half-heartedly* Today was long.
But, I is all caught up on the thread now! Rejoice!
The end of the blog makes me tres, tres sad. It really does. Mostly because I know this means it'll be leaving theaters soon. It's like... the end of an era, almost. I dunno, it still depresses me. Because when I first heard talk of a Rent movie, I imagined this glorious scenario in which millions of others would experience this thing that had changed my life (and so many people I know) in enormous proportion, and they would possibly have their lives changed by it... and maybe it would open some peoples' eyes.
*snaps back to reality* Well, what can I say? I've always been a dreamer.
Things just don't always turn out the way you imagine them turning out.
Mandi, I love that picture. It's so genuine. I'm surprised no one else mentioned it yet!
Heh. Thor. *snerk*
*hands muffin to StageWhore*
