As much as I wish that Anthony would run into my arms and profess his love to me (I think I've had too much time on my hands, 'cause I have this all planned out), I think that him and Rodney are *so* cute. So, if they broke up it would be sad... and in turn I'd have to go into some mourning state and seem like some emo-kid (not that there's anything wrong with emo-kids, it's just not me)

Wow...a lot has happened on this thread in the past page, lol. I was at a meeting for my school's service trip to Mississippi in March.
But, I agree with what everyone said about people being homophobic and whatnot, there's just no reason for it.
I am getting more and more excited about the possibilities of this booksigning...I wonder what I should say to Anthony...
And whoever said it before, I like dots too...

About being homophobic and liking Rent -
I think that you can be homophobic and like the music, the story, etc., but unless you are tolerant and accepting of other lifestyles, you can't really grasp the true meaning of it. There are tons and tons of 12 year old girls who love Rent, but laugh and say "Ew!" whenever Collins and Angel and Maureen and Joanne kiss. For them, Rent is just a musical with hot actors and really cool songs. For those of us that are actually open-minded, we have the benefit of understanding the true meaning of the story, rather than just seeing what is presented to us.
Wow. Sleep deprivation leads to philosophical rambling...interesting.

Um, so someone- but you can't remember who- said on the IMDB message board- but you can't remember where- said that she knows that Anthony and Rodney broke up. And you don't question their claims at all and post them as facts on another board?

I remember that post or seeing it (the one where it said they broke up)... if you're thinking of the same one I am... I called the guy who posted it an a$$hole, because he is and that was rather rude of him. I liked the IMDb Rent board back when it was coherent and not full of mind numbing games and morons. Ugh.
(I just got back from 5 hours of class... don't mind me.)

And it's okay, Isolating Age. Humankind is not doomed, it was a false alarm. Anthony and Rodney did not break up. I hardly go to IMDB at all- it's chaos there. Practically every day there's a new thread "OMG lets do all the lines to la veee bohemie!!!111"

My mom is a gigantic Law & Order fan, and I just told her that it was Jesse's birthday. She asked me where I knew him from, since I don't watch L&O, and I told her that he was in the OBC of Rent, and she couldn't believe it. In L&O, he's so...not Collins.
