Mine would have to be "what matters is that everyone tells tiny lies--
What's important, really, is the size" from Into the Woods.

In my heart, I found the answered dream, and in my soul I found the song, and in my friends I found the magic, the love, the moon up above- they were mine, all mine, all along..!

ALBERT THIS MAY BE YOUR LAST CHANCE!!

sorry..i just saw my cue..and i miss that show so much *tear* lol

well some of my favorite quotes are

"The trouble is, son, the farther you run, the more you feel undefined; for what you have left undone, and more what you've left behind."-Into the Woods

"Sometimes people leave you
Halfway through the wood.
Do not let it grieve you,
No one leaves for good.
You are not alone.
No one is alone."-Into the Woods

"People make mistakes
Fathers, mothers, people make mistakes
Holding to their own, thinking they're alone
Honor their mistakes, Fight for their mistakes
Everybody makes one another's terrible mistakes.
Witches can be right. Giants can be good
You decide what's right, you decide what's good
Just remember someone is on your side
Someone else is not. While we're seeing our side
Maybe we forgot, they are not alone, no one is alone"-Into the Woods

"Wishes bring you problems such that you regret them. Better that, though, then to never get them"-Into the Woods

"There's only us
There's only this
Forget regret or life is yours to miss
No other road no other way
No day but today"-Rent

"No wonder you look so terrible. Men and their wars. Sometimes I think men raise flags when they can't get anything else up."-Pippin

"I wanted magic shows and miracles, mirages to touch. I wanted such a little thing from life, I wanted too much. I never came close, my love, we nearly came near. It never was there..I think it was here"-Pippin

" It's not talk of God and the decade ahead that
Allows you to get through the worst.
It's "I do" and "you don't" and "nobody said that"
And "who brought the subject up first?"
It's the little things,
The little things, the little things, the little things."-Company

Theres the first few that came to mind, i have loads of them re: What's Your Favorite Broadway Line?

"No two shows are alike in the making. Each show is a living piece of your life in a small unreal world with its own character and integrity; its own new set of memorable experiences and incredible happenings. You begin to love and adapt to its strangeness. Dreams harden into substance. Values come into focus. You wish it would never end. The dream world vanishes like mist before a rising sun; part of you vanishes with it. And back you land in the real world with a thud- fogged, uneasy, jittery, difficult to get along with. There is only one cure. A new show. A new, small unreal world; new visions, experiences, incredible happenings. Again you love it, adapt to it, wish it would never end. But end it does. Another part of you vanishes. That's show business."-Anonymous

"Good, you got it!"

"I am ready to disclaim my opinion, even of yesterday, even of 10 minutes ago, because all opinions are relative. One lives in a field of influences, one is influenced by everyone one meets, everything is an exchange of influences, all opinions are derivative. Once you deal a new deck of cards, you've got a new deck of cards." — Peter Brook

One favorite line? Well...hm. I can't think of just one. But the first line(s) that popped into my head was:

Jack: Wait 'til my mother hears of this!
Baker: Jack...your mother is dead.

I don't know why, but I love that.

Wow, this has some of the same lyrics from "For Good"

Here are the lyrics from a section of "For Good":

"Like a seed dropped by a sky bird, halfway through the wood
Who can say if I've been changed for the better, but because I knew you, I have been changed for good"

It's a little bit strange...

"I'm obnoxious and disliked, you know that sir!"
- John Adams, 1776.
(also known as etoile's signature)

Now that whole song is going through my head.

"I won't put politics to pen, it is a mania, so I refuse to use the pen in Pennsylvania."

(25 American History bonus points for identifying which character said that.)

Salmon leap from the womb of the white sea you look on; they are calves, they are lambs of good color, in peace without slaughter.

I haven't seen many Broadway shows, so...lyrics it is.

"So we'll guffaw, in his gu-face..." - cracked me up. Wonderful lyrics usage.

"I mean Alberta! SH*T, her NAME is Alberta, she LIVES in Vancouve-she's my girlfriend!..." - Funny, funny.

LOTS of lyrics from Little Women gives me chills because of the emotion that Suttons sings them with.

This is my signature.

"My dear, little librarian - pile up enough tomorrows and you'll find you've collected nothing but a lot of empty yesterdays." -- Prof. Harlod 'Gregory' Hill
My all-time favorite quote from one of my all-time favorite shows, The Music Man.

"You're in a marry mood today, Mr. Todd." -- Judge Turpin
"Here we got a nice respectable business goin'!" -- Mrs. Nellie Lovett
Both from Sweeney Todd, and great in their respective ways.

"Who is Stephen Sondheim?" -roninjoey
"The man who wishes he had written Phantom of the Opera!" - SueleenGay
