My favorite is from Wicked when Elphaba goes up in "Defying Gravity" and she says "It's meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! So if you care to find me..."
Here are my top two favorites:
1.It's meee, so if you care to find me...-Wicked
2.Oops, did I scare you? - Wicked, when she appears in Nessa's room and sings "The Witch of the East"
Others can post their top two faves too.
Thank you!

Chenoweth just delivered it *perfectly*.. few people can pull that off.. I can see why Brantley raved about her, quite rightly.

Ummmm...
"To hand crafted beers made in local breweries..." -I don't know what it is, but really random quotes from Rent give me chills. Anyway, I love when this line starts, it gets the song going.
"It's like being tied to the hood of a yellow rental truck, being packed in with fertilizer, and fuel oil, pushed over a cliff by a suicidal Mickey Mouse!"
"What was it about that night? Connection, in an isolating age. For once the shadows gave way to light. For once I didn't disengage..."
"And goodness knows, the Wicked's lives are lonely, goodness knows, the Wicked die alone." -This whole song gives me chills.
"One question haunts and hurts, too much, too much to mention. Was I really seeking good, or just seeking attention?"
"I love him, but everyday I'm learning, all my life I've only been pretending. Without him, this world will go on turning, a world that's full of happiness, that I have never known..."
Okay, so they aren't lines, they're lyrics. But I couldn't think of any lines. The Glinda one that JakeB said rocks, though.

JakeB, I agree, that line was funny when Kristin said that. I also completely agree with everything that elphie is perky said.
I am so glad this thread is getting attention

Posted: 6/19/05 at 10:19amOh! I also love in Hairspray when they are in the record shop and Velma goes to Edna, "Oh...so you're what spawned THAT...*pause*" and Edna goes "Excuse me????" and Velma goes "I guess you're proof that the watermelon doesn't fall far from the vine..." and Edna goes "Tracy...hold mommy's waffles!". Lol. J.P. does a fantastic job with those lines.

Mine is from thoroughly modern millie and it's towards the beginning of the second act right after Forget About The Boy. Mr. Graydon is babbling on about something and Millie(Sutton) goes "Do ya have a mo? ...A Mo-ment?" That line just cracks me up and so does her physicality when she says it! It's absolutely hilarious!!!
The rest of that scene is friggin hilarious too! In talking about Tom Sawyer, Millie asks, "Was He Sexy?" ...Graydon says, "He was Twelve."...Millie replies, "Well, when you got it, you got it!"

is my number one favorite line, but anything from The Producers, Avenue Q, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, or Spelling Bee could qualify for second, third, etc.

"There will be armed guards there". "With arms!" oh Penny how I love thee
