Loved the sets for "The Color Purple". Especially the way it was lit. Sweeney's set was very cool. Loved the courtyard in "Doubt". I think my 3 favorites are "Sunday in the Park With George", "Into the Woods" and the "Showboat" revival.
"You pile up enough tomorrows, and you'll find you are left with nothing but a lot of empty yesterdays. I don't know about you, but I'd like to make today worth remembering." --Harold Hill from The Music Man

You must remember all the same that at the crux of every game is knowing when it's time to leave the table... And it's important to be artful in your exit. No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree. ~Dirty Rotten Scoundrels~
There's a special kind of people known as show people. We live in a world full of dreams. Sometimes we're not too certain what's false and what's real. But we're seldom in doubt about what we feel. ~Curtains~
It is a far, far better thing I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest I go to, than I have ever known. ~A Tale of Two Cities ~
I'm Not Rappaport K2 Our Town (depending on your own imagination) Ondine (No, I didn't see it, but the photos I've seen of this '50s play are unbelieveable) An Inspector Calls (recent revival)

I am quite fond of Eugene Lee's designs for the original SWEENEY TODD and the revival of SHOWBOAT.
Also, my first Broadway show, the original OLIVER, with it's massive revolving set by Sean Kenney. It truly changed the look of musicals. It was one ofthe first times that sets changed in full view of the audience as the action continued.
well, Les Mis's revolving barricade is pretty good. really love how Javert climbs it while it turns.
