In the near future, Idina and Kristin should do like Nathan and Matthew and return to the roles that they claimed as their own.

There should be a tour for every Wicked groupie to play the leads. That way it should decrease the number of these posts because you'll be busy with the tour.

I think Frenchie Davis should because she good enough, she's smart enough and dammit, People just love her when she is not punching sleeping babies in the face.

Katie Holmes is taking over the role as soon as she delivers the baby.

Can Ms. Aguilera act? There is more to playing a role than just being able to sing--and I am not even so sure her voice could withstand the demands of an 8 show a week schedule.

I'm confused. Which sleeping babies are getting punched in the face by Frenchie Davis?

Yeah, I felt it was a necessary evil, orangeskittles.
I figure if these posts won't go away, we should at least have fun and take them as off topic as possible. :)

Are we not supposed to be naming women who have not PLAYED THE ROLE ALREADY.... if so, I would love to see Amy Spanger do it, she has some belt!! Lea Salonga would be great in any role and would add a certain something to the character; hopefully tapping into the frustrations of being a Filipino and having a rough time getting work because of her race/creed. She must know what it feels like to be the green girl!!!! Also, Simone from Aida and Rent would be a fierce Elphie with a belt that would rock the theatre to the ground. (It's a reeeal strech, but hey, let's think of this casting as if were painting with Bob Ross- in our own little world!!!lol)

I remember hearing a rumor a little while back that Julia Murney was going to take over the role on tour when Block's contract expires. If it turns out to be true, I would DEFINITELY go see the show again. Her being in it would be the ONLY thing that could get me to see Wicked again...

I thought we agreed in the other who should play Elphaba thread that the since you've been gone chick from American Idol is taking over as Elphaba and Madonna is Glinda and so it will be forever and ever?

I think Liza would make a great Elphaba. I think Nathan Lane should play Glinda and Matthew Broderick should play Elphaba. I think John C. Reilly should be Elphaba and Philip Seymour Hoffman should play Glinda - and then they should switch!
