I sent in a window card to Priscilla Queen of the Desert with a $50 donation to Broadway cares asking for the cast to sign it I received it back signed by four people and it was actually mailed to me from Broadway cares. So yes I have done it but the results weren't that great . Lol

Heard back from School of Rock and Phantom yesterday! Unfortunately, the Phantom Playbill got wet in the rain and now it looks and feels weird. Luckily, the signatures didn't come off of the Playbill. I was kinda disappointed because it was an all new Playbill that was signed by the cast from this month, but I'll just send to them again. 

The SOR Playbill was dated February 2017 and is perfectly fine.

I think the Anastasia cast has been really busy lately. About a half dozen of my Fanastasia group (myself included) are currently waiting for replies from Christy, and one of my friends just heard back from John Bolton yesterday, after about 2 months.

But what's weird is I sent to Christy and Derek at the same time and I heard back from her within 12 days the first time and about 3 weeks the second time I wrote her. And still nothing from Derek.

Since people are asking about Christy Altomare, I thought I'd report I just got a signed Playbill and nice note from her today. It took 3 weeks to the day. I think I had unrealistic expectations as Laura Osnes replied to me in under a week!

Wrote to the cast of CATS and just received a cast signed playbill signed by 14 members of the cast. I didnt have to send a donation and it only took 7 days

I wanted to say thank you to everyone who gave me letter-writing advice!  I sent Andy Karl a letter on Monday the 21st with a SASE.  I got a signed Pride Playbill back today, along with a picture of the cast and Al Roker with a note on the back.

I've heard of people getting responses from Andy in 8 days before, but when you incorporate the fact I live in California, my mind is blown!!!!

I also wrote to Barrett Doss, Katy Geraghty, and Raymond J Lee last week, will report if I hear anything!

I still didn't get anything today, and most people who wrote to her in the last few weeks got stuff today. And those who didn't got stuff yesterday.

One more question that someone around here may know the answer to -

Is it considered acceptable to post pictures of signed stuff we've gotten back from actors on social media?  There's nothing private on the Playbill I got from Andy (just my name and a brief message), but I wanted to make sure this was okay.  (I'm American, but I come from a Japanese theater fandom background, where it's a big no-no to share stuff like this)

It's absolutely OK. People do it all the time, even if it includes a message from the actor/actress.

I heard back from Christy Altomare today as well, sent a personal message and an autographed Playbill. I sent it to her on the 10th of August so it was a quick response. BTW she is incredibly sweet.
