If you would read prior pages of this very board, you'd find the answers to your questions regarding who answers fan mail. You don't even have to start at the beginning; go even five or ten pages back and you can learn a lot of useful info.
heard back from andy karl today and saw the show tonight so it timed out well! He remembered me at the stagedoor both from past shows as well as from my letter / he drew me a tattoo in his response so he remembered like which tat i was. ive seen the show a lot so i told him i didnt need a playbill or anything but a cast pic would be awesome if he had any and he sent 3! really really happy. I wrote thursday I believe and heard back today so it took less than a week :)
I sent to her last month on August 4 and got it back today! It took 7 weeks and 4 days.
I got back a signed Playbill with a personalized message (I asked for two, but I'm very grateful) and the questionnaire I sent her (she answered all of the questions and signed at the bottom of it)!
If you want to send to her, just know it might take a while.
I got a reply from Nicholas Belton today! He sent me a signed playbill, a signed Polaroid, a very sweet letter (2 pages!), and one of his "bear me in your arms" drawings that he was selling at the Flea! What a guy
I sent fan mail to CATCF last Wednesday requesting a cast signed playbill. Has anyone done that recently? In a few places I've seen it take 8 days and in others it was many weeks. I've been impatiently waiting for it's return, but I'm not sure how long it will take. I live in NY so the postage won't be slow
Hello!! I'm new to BroadwayWorld so bear with me! But I've gotten responses from Christy Altomare, Ali Ewoldt, Andy Karl, Christine Cornish Smith, CATCF, War Paint, Come From Away, and Dear Evan Hansen! I'm still waiting on responses from Bette Midler, Ana Villfane, Christian Borle, Zach Levi, Amber Riley, Jessica Keenan Wynn, Gavin Creel, Beautiful, and Rachel Bay Jones! I have a fan mail blog broadwaybloggies.blogspot.com !
Heard back from Dave Malloy last week, sent it the last week of the show. Very nice personalized and signed playbill, referencing my letter. I won't share but it was very sweet
I am missing Mike Faist and Will Roland's autographs from my copy of the libretto to DEH. I was told by a fellow Fan-sen at the stage door that donations to specific actors, with the exception of Ben Platt, are not required when asking for their autograph. Is this true? Has anyone had experience with either actor during this production?
Thank you! :)
