Just received from Laura today actually. I thought I had lost the signed playbill she sent me when I last wrote to her over the summer. I ended up finding that playbill afterall, but this time she sent a signed picture of her as Gypsy and thanked me for the beautiful letter.

Does anyone know an address where Cheyenne Jackson could be reached? My little cousin is obsessed with Cheyenne (as most are)and for her birthday, I would LOVE to get her something signed by him. What have you written in your notes to actors, in order to get something returned to you?

Did anyone try and write Liza? I tried thinking that maybe i'd get a response but alas i did not. I was just wondering if anyone else tried.

I sent one to the stage manager for Liza and she sent a signed playbill back (and it was personalized) which I didn't expect.

Guys, I'm sorry to ask this, but I made a thread on the West End board about writing to Michael Ball. Well, I wrote my letter, but I don't know where to get UK stamps for the SASE-- my post office said there was nothing they could do. Someone said I could use an International Reply Coupon, but my dad and I can't find where we can purchase those. Does anyone know? I really, really want to send this letter, because I'm a huge fan and I've never sent fan mail to anyone before!

From USA to UK is, last time I checked, a letter is 94 cents, which should be about half a pound.
My suggestion: send a money order or traveller's check for the amount (I would make it a pound, to be safe, in case they send something back which might weigh more), and ask them to use it for the SASE stamp. Usually, they are fairly nice about doing this.

I live in Canada. When I go to NYC, I sometimes buy stamps with enough postage to reach Canada for my SASE's.
But failing that, if there is a store for stamp collectors in your area, I'm pretty sure you could buy sufficient current UK stamps from the dealer to reach England. I have bought current US stamps at my local stamp collector's shop.
