Posted: 1/26/09 at 7:20pmI received a wonderful letter in reply from Aaron Simon Gross who played Archie, the terminally ill young teen of "13". I had written to him about his previous show "Brundibar", the childrens' opera first performed by children in a German concentration camp, which I had seen at the New Victory Theatre. I also received a nice card with a message from Adam Riegler who plays Young Shrek in that show. I had written to him about his Cubby Bernstein videos that were so amusing on behalf of Xanadu in the Tony campaign.

How does one contact Scott Frankel and/or Michael Korie? I'm such fans of their work and I've been meaning to write either man a fan letter since Grey Gardens opened. By the way, I heard a song from Happiness and their Finding Neverland musical and both are great, particularly the former.
And regarding getting back things, I wrote Sondheim a letter telling him how much I loved Road Show and asking him to elaborate on two things he mentioned at the Sondheim-Rich evening at Avery Fisher and I got a short and lovely response Monday after waiting a week and a half. It's my second letter from him.

Over a month ago I sent to Leigh ann Larkin (before Gypsy Closed) and Raul Esparza. I somehow feel since I got my responses from Patti Laura and NBL I dont think those 2 are coming back. Oh Well 
Im gonna write to people in shrek at some point soon though so hopefully that turns out better.

Posted: 2/10/09 at 3:49pmI sent to Leigh Ann Larkin about a month before Gypsy closed too and didn't hear anything back either. I sent to her over the summer and got a reply in a week or less. I wanted to get an extra signed picture from her for a friend, but I guess it's not that big of deal, as long as she got my letter I hope.
