"It was the most embarrassing in the board's history. "
I can name 5 posts in this past week alone which are more embarrassing than Rapp defending the Rent movie.

Well, most embarrassing from a Broadway 'celebrity' or whatever he is.
LizzieCurry used to save a few threads, maybe she keeps that one.

From what I gather, many Broadway people read the chat board but do not post.
LMM sent me a PM once, which was cool except he was correcting me on a Hamilton-related comment I posted before it transferred to Broadway.

that’s awesome DB! what kind of correction was it?

Ha! At some point on a discarded computer I may have had a screenshot of that. But I have no idea now.
This is all I could dig up, sadly: https://forum.broadwayworld.com/readmessage.php?thread=860644&boardname=off&dt=19&boardid=2
Erich Bergen used to post here, too. I believe his username was DJerich.

I'm pretty sure Seth Rudetskey at least reads from time to time. I'm not sure if he's ever posted.

Bruce Villanch posts on this board almost every day.

Quite a few Broadway performers are members. I'm not going to out anyone, but it doesn't take that much effort to figure out who's legit. Lots of people lurk, whether they admit it or not.

Brooke Tansley used to post and answer questions about working on Broadway here. The threads are still there if you look carefully.

I understand Adam Pascal lurks (or used to, at least).

i was intrigued about the whole “whiteboyspice” thing so i googled about it and found this 485-page thread welcoming anthony rapp to the board! is that the longest thread in BWW history??

I believe Adam Pascal posted here under his actual name. There was the time he challenged someone who had posted about him going up on a lyric in CHICAGO.

I was in a Harry Potter movie so I'm a pretty big deal...

I once received a lovely message from Michael John LaChiusa after posting how much I admired his score to THE WILD PARTY. It made me realize that people we both compliment as well as criticize on this board often read our posts.

SO IMPORTANT to remember. And most these folks ain't living glamourous lives, so they're not crying all the way to the bank. Easy to forget; important to remember.

i completely forgot Jesse Tyler Ferguson is obviously a member or lurker considering his hilarious post-reading that occurred recently on instagram.

Without any proof that constitutes a smoking gun, I don't think any of us will ever know the real answer to this question.
