I mean recently we've been having a lack of redheads on Broadway. Well, sure JLT is a redhead, but she didn't showcase it because she was Galinda/Glinda. So what's up with this?
Carolee will be back in Lestat. Her hair was super red at the Lestat preview concert. She's the fiercest red-head around!

I don't know. Susan Egan needs to come back to Broadway, though.

The "sexy redhead in Chicago" has a name. It's Michelle DeJean. :)
And don't forget one of my fav's, Sarah Gettlefinger.
There are some gorgeous and talented ones around. Yet we can ALWAYS have more.
Bring on the Redheads!
there used to be such an army of redheads--most of les miz and many in 42nd street.

I'm a redhead! Bring it on! :)
Susan Egan's a natural redhead?
Julia Murney needs to (a) not be blonde anymore, returning to her amazing natural shade, and (b) come back to Broadway.

Oh for God's sake--How do you overlook Spelling Bee's illustrious redhead Jesse Tyler Ferguson

It always amuses me when people with gorgeous red hair decide to dye it other colors. Most people would kill for that color (not carrot top, but a brick red/deep auburn color). I'm naturally dirty blonde and have been shades of blonde my whole life and dyed my hair red. I think on the right people, it looks striking... why would they want to be blonde?
Like Rachel York (who's apparently not naturally a redhead or blonde)... she looks GORGEOUS with red hair. She was still pretty blonde, but the red is so striking.
shineon- Julia dyed her hair blonde because the producers (or director, I forget) of Lennon told her to.
As to why she hasn't dyed it back, I dunno. It's fun to be a different hair color. My hair has been about 10 different colors.
I don't think Julia will be keeping her hair blonde, as gorgeous as it is. The other night she was proudly showing off her roots...which are about an inch long now.
As for redheads, Roxane Barlow is a gorgeous one!

Not that this is really on topic, but I just have to say it.
Michelle DeJean is one of the sexiest woman on Broadway, ever. In fact, I think she's quite possibly one of the hottest women ever to step foot on a stage.

Broadway isn't redheadless as long as Judy Kaye is on the boards.
Can't wait for my other fave red to return in Lestat (Carolee). All I'd need then is my final rave redhead (Carole Shelley) to complete the trio.

As a redhead, I like this thread.
I always get annoyed when people with gorgeous red (or even brunette) hair dye it blonde. Whyyy? It almost never looks better than their natural shade, and red hair is rare and exciting, especially if it's a good shade.

I believe the current Tracy in Hairspray, Shannon Durig, is a redhead. Or at least, I know she has a red tint to her hair.

Whether she is or not, she's known for being one. I have no idea if she's au natural.
Thank you Creative Lunatic! I love him and got to meet him a few weeks ago during the intermission of a Sweeney Todd Wed. matinee. Sweet guy and so cute!
An actress who played Roxy in Chicago was red-headed. Liz Calloway? Carroway? Heather, help me out here....
Belle Callaway! She's a red-head, right?

Yes, Belle is a redhead. A very spunky one.
Chris, Marilu Henner and Karen Ziemba were redheaded Roxies.
