Where is Limelight Mike?
We saw it yesterday. I really liked the score, but don't see how they're not going to slam the book. The concept and overall story are good, but the dialogue really needs some work, and parts of the story are just -- muddled.
If Frank got even respectable reviews, I think he would be thrilled
I wonder if the fate of Bonnie & Clyde hinges on the success of Wonderland.
Besides Wildhorn as composer, who are the other members of the creative team on Bonnie & Clyde?
From what I've heard, it's already a done deal for Bonnie & Clyde coming to Broadway - and it was amazing when I saw it in Sarasota. Coming from someone who really dislikes Wildhorn's scores, that really is a massive compliment.
As for the creative team; Don Black is lyricizing it, Jeff Calhoun is directing it, and Ivan Menchell is writing it.

Wow, even Word of Mouth hated it:

Oh boy, if Word of Mouth hated it god knows what ligitimate reviewers thought. I say it'll last 2 months.

Off topic, but I hate those "Word of Mouth" reviews. I don't know why I watch them, since they never fail to annoy me.
Thanks, mattbrain, that was fascinating! I can't help but think there'll be lots more like that in the coming hours. As I predicted in another thread, I think the cast will be completely forgiven and credited for giving it their best shot, but the creative team (perhaps not the designers) will be clobbered. I'm glad that at least that two out of the three people discussing the show praised Janet Dacal. She seems to be a gifted performer.

The Wonderland logo isn't by the Broadway World logo, and they don't have a live update for the reviews. Weird.

Why is Backstage allowed to post a review prior to opening?

They already posted the Red Carpet photos too.

Even if that were true, there's no way the review was written based on the opening night performance!
