I was trying to search for my first BWW post. I could have sworn I started in 2005, but it's March 4, 2006. I still can't figure out how to find my first. What is your first BWW post...whether an original thread or a response.

Mine was a sincere post in a joke thread. Classic.

Mine was about the LITTLE ME at Encores announcement. I was very enthusiastic!
ETA - I very easily found it, posted 5/21/13 at 4:58pm:
"This sounds fantastic! I hope they record all three again, but especially LITTLE ME. I hope they use the original version and not the revisions.
Also, I agree with Jon that it'd be great to see Megan Hilty as Belle."
Still would have been nice to see her as Belle.

Mine was about which two shows my grandma and I should see on a trip to NYC last summer; my grandma ended up surprising me and letting me see five shows, so that all worked out well. ![]()

My first post was in 2011 and I believe it had something to do with Newsies.
Countdown till Jordan comments some hilariously stupid remark about me having multiple socks and then going on a hissy fit on why I may or may not see his posts....LOL #JordansoFunny #JayAndJordanForever

Thanks to this I got sucked down the rabbit hole reading some very old threads.
I joined during Twittergate (The Daryl Eisenberg Twitter Thread). Or, to be more accurate, I created this screen name for that thread, as I had been posting for about a year before that under a name that afforded me a lot less anonymity. I wanted to protect myself somewhat during that thread, as I had recently worked on a show that Daryl Eisenberg had been the casting director for and did not want that connection to be made, hence abandoning my former screen name.

October 2005. I posted that the cast of the soon-to-open Color Purple was about to perform on the Black Movie Awards on TNT. (Does that even exist anymore?)

I finally found my first post. Gosh I was young...44 years of age. https://forum.broadwayworld.com/boardsearch.php?startdate=March%204,%202006&enddate=&boardtosearch=main&posted_by=Patti%20LuPone%20FANatic&searchtext=&search_options=both&page=48 P.S. They're 48 pages, yikes! I want to search and find something regarding MargoChanning. M.C. is very much missed.

Except for Dollypop, I don't recognize any of the other names. Speaking of Dollypop....where is he?

He started a thread about Tony Yazbeck sometime in the past couple of weeks that he's been appearing in. But it did seem like he took a fairly long hiatus for a while there.

It seems that MargoChanning's last post is on this page: January 28, 2008. For those of you chickens (using a Grey Gardens reference) who don't know of this intelligent person, Margo was quite knowledgeable of all things theatre. https://forum.broadwayworld.com/readmessage.php?thread=955474#3442782

I started posting after the Hairspray movie was announced. I remember that and the famous Hairspray Blog by our own Mateo and all of his avatars, designs, drawings, exclusive photos, and such right before he started doing the OFFICIAL Hairspray blog.

Although never confirmed, it is probable that MargoChanning went to that theatre in the sky. He was always very eloquent in his posts/responses.

For me, October 13, 2003. I feared it was something puerile about "Wicked," in very early previews at the time, and my fears were just confirmed. I suggested that it needed an overture. Yeah. In my defense, several people agreed. That was the "Is the future of Broadway 'Caroline or Change' or 'Wicked'?" era at BWW. I don't believe anyone got a PhD free associating from that provocative thesis, but I could be wrong. Not for the first time. Twelve years later, I'm gonna go compensate by trying to say something semi-thoughtful about John Clancy's orchestrations for "Fun Home."
