In all fairness, they should've foreseen this. Bare has quite the cult following. And sadly, Damon, I'm not happy about ****** playing ******

Have not clue what that means. Of Course sometimes I have no clue what a lot of things mean on here. IMO took me a long to figure out. LOL.

I believe it's Damon's response to anyone who was pissed about a certain cast member not being on the CD i.e. Natalie Joy Johnson not playing Nadia or Michael Arden not playing Peter. It's stuff like that.

"Hah! I'm not Damon. I know Damon, but that's another story" Yea, you've got the HOOK UP
In regards to the "delay" of the shipping, as many of you seem to be so furious about. I feel it is hardly anyone's duty to have to check their email daily for a confirmation that their CD has shipped, I believe everyone understood, as Damon as implanted in all of his little blurbs about the forthcoming Bare album, that it is a SMALL INDEPENDENT COMPANY; they are not Amazon.com and all of this is a fairly new experience to the entire team. With inexperience, comes the process of learning the ropes, and that is what they are doing. Damon mentioned that HE himself is essentially the company and BARE, from the beginning, has been nothing but a labor of love. People have devoted countless hours to ensure that BARE can finally be preserved. Perhaps there has been a miscalculation, in terms of what the creative team had expected and what is currently in front of their faces as we speak. The process of delivering hundred of CD's is not easy as one would expect in the fast paced environment we thrive on. If you yourself think otherwise, I'd advise you to attempt this on your own. If you possibly believe that you can manage such an operation, be my guest. I also believe that it is rude to bombard the company with your emails after several notices have been issued that state the current condition of the process. If you paid for an item, quite simply, you will receive it. The only time when you should concern yourself with not receiving an item, is when it has been FAR OVER THE MENTIONED DATE OF SHIPMENT (One week or more), then in that case, take legal action. As they have mentioned on the website, the item will be shipped within 7-10 BUSINESS DAYS, and as I check the date (November 8th), we are still within that time frame. For those unfamiliar with BUSINESS DAYS, they usually consist of the 5 day weekday (Mon-Fri). It has not been a period of time where you should begin to worry. Essentially, my intention of writing this small paragraph is to insist that you contain your antics and understand the situation at hand. There seems to be a select few individuals that have overreacted entirely and need to examine something thoroughly prior to purchasing, as well as the ongoing delivery to their homes. And I am through. Updated On: 11/8/07 at 01:30 PM
The problem is BroadwayBelter, that originally the promise was SAME DAY shipping. So no, they are not well within the range of mentioned shippment. The shippingrecieving dates have consistantly been changed even after the album was sold to paying customers. First it was "same day", then you "will reviece in 7-10 business days", and THEN it was "will ship in 7-10 business days". And this was all changes SINCE the 30th of October when the CD hit the market. So, before you start preaching about how we all should learn a little something about business maybe you should take your speech to YOU PAY NOW Music Co. because it seems they are the ones who need a little lesson in business.
"That does make a lot of sense!! If only we had the CDs, we could judge for ourselves."

I'm not intending to be rude or even nasty. I'm hardly preaching about business ethic; simply etiquette in general. You should at least have the decency to cooperate with the situation at hand and calm yourself after they have shared that they are attempting to fix what they have done. We understand that they [as referred to as YOU PAY NOW MUSIC (Damon and a few others)]need a lesson in business, though I hardly stated it as such. Hadn't I established that earlier?
Patience is a virtue, learn to apply it appropriately. If you can't, then I'm at a loss of words for your future endeavors. Updated On: 11/8/07 at 02:08 PM
I think we have to let go of the past promises and work forward. The email said we will have it by the 13th if we paid on the 30th. I did. I will hopefully have it on or by the 13th. I can live with that. There is truth on both sides; They promised something they didn't deliver and people overreacted, myself included. I think that's a compliment to the work though. People just really want the CD. It means enough that people are anxiously waiting for it and anxious people are cranky.
I think when they said same day shipping they thought that only a few dozen would sell. Not 1200. That's quite a leap in numbers and impossible to process.
And yes, Damon was genuintely caught by surprise. A happy surprise, but a surprise none the less.
With any small business, when something happens unexpectedly you have to alter your course of action, which is what they've done. I'd agree with BroadwayBelter that we should all wait until the ten business days are up. If no one has received a notification of shipment by then, that's another story.

Ok, there should have been a statement made the day after the release date stating they received over a thousand orders. But no, they waited a WEEK to tell us that.
Even so, it seems to me they could have taken pre-orders. So, I don't blame anyone here for complaining.
Also, I haven't heard one person on here say they received it. If they had a few dozen CDs 'ready', why not mail those out to at least please a few fans... I think it's crappy to hold the orders back just so everything can be mailed at once. I know in Damon's e-mail he mentions people recieved them, but they must not be fans here. Surely someone would have mentioned it.
I don't like how this was handled AT ALL! I am not falling for that 'we received too many orders'. They had months to put up a poll or they COULD have said on the site that each person may order only 1 CD.... to me it sounds like people were ordering in bulk.
Anyone want to chat with me on this topic: PM for my AIM!
Thanks!

Ummm...that is starting to sound like a scam...I did not realize the company's name. But that is going to be one sick and sad joke if this was all a scam. And will put a bad name on Musical Recordings. But, I still have faith!

I'll exercise my sense of humor when I have the album in my hands. Because Damon said I'd have it by November 13, which is this coming Tuesday... yet I still haven't received an email confirming my order has shipped.
So at this moment, I'm not finding a company funny that has had my money for 2 weeks and not sent out a product.
It kinda bothers me that the company name is not even correct grammar. Not that i have perfect grammar (or even close for that matter) but I would think a professional company would want to present itself as such.
I don't think its a scam - why would Matt Doyle, James Snyder, and all of the others associate themselves with it in the videos if it was? And playbill.com has advertised the album in its headlines more than once... I just can't believe how long we have had to wait.
7 - 10 days my foot!
