We have three cats, all girls, all named from Broadway... our six year old Sadie, as in Sadie, Sadie Married Lady... and the new kittens Millie and Miss Dorothy...
Gingerbread houses along golden, frothy canals. Like Venice... only different?
The naming of cats is a difficult matter It isn't just one of your holiday games You may think at first I'm mad as a hatter When I tell you a cat must have three different names
First of all, there's the name that the family use daily Such as Peter, Augustus, Alonzo or James Such as Victor or Jonathan, George or Bill Bailey All of them are sensible, everyday names
But I tell you a cat needs a name that's particular A name that's peculiar and more dignified Else how can he keep up his tail perpendicular? Or spread out his whiskers or cherish his pride?
Of names of this kind, I can give you a quorum Such as Munkostrap, Quaxo or Coricopat Such as Bumblirina or else Jellylorum Names that never belong to more than one cat
But above and beyond there's still one name left over And that is the name that you will never guess The name that no human research can discover But the cat himself knows and will never confess
When you notice a cat in profound meditation The reason, I tell you, is always the same His mind is engaged in rapt contemplation Of the thought, of the thought, of the thought of his name His ineffable, effable, effanineffable Deep and inscrutable singular name Name, name, name, name, name, name
Perhaps you meant "Caractacus?" You see, it's supposed to sound vaguely like "Crackpot," which is how the character in CCBB is viewed by the community. At least according to Ian Fleming. Ah, but I'm sure you'll think otherwise; what would Ian Fleming know about Esparza's character anyway, right?
I named my cats Jelly and Tanto after Jellylorum and Tantomile from CATS. They are both gone now, and the beautiful creature at the left is Siren.
cats, and dogs, cannot comprehend (accordging to my Vet) more than two syllables. So.....naming a cat Kitty Kitty Bang Bang (which is cute) is really naming a cat Kitty.
A cats name is like a tattoo......you, and the poor cat have to live with it forever, so THINK ABOUT IT.
A cats name should reflect on traits of the CAT, and not your likes.........would you want to have been name3d Sweetpea because your parents thought you were sweet?
I have always observed a kit for a couple of weeks before naming them....and then names just seemed to come.
A cat will only understnad Fabri, if named Fabrizio.........makes no sense.......
It is ridiculous to set a detective story in New York City. New York City is itself a detective story...

Are you REALLY gonna name your cat Radames or Fiyero???? PLEASE don't. Just name the cat Marc Kudisch and then buy a bird named Shannon and lets let nature take its course. OK I am going to hell.
How about: Lancelot, Arthur, Robin, Ruprechet, or Orin(if it's a male) and Audrey, Christine, or Ulla(if it's a female). ________________________________________________________________ "Someone blows their nose and you want to keep it." -Ghostbusters
