I've seen probably 8 different Rogers. My favorites were
*Adam Pascal and Cary Shields

Least favorites
*Manley Pope and Tim Howar (however, I do thank him for the 2 hours shower from the stage :))

...I'm somehow shocked that so many people gave serious answers, considering what almost all Rent threads have been like lately.

Anyway. I've only seen Pascal, Howar, and Declan Bennett. Adam was the best, Declan was the only one of the three I didn't really enjoy at all.

I have only seen Adam and Declan, I really didn't enjoy Declan either. Adam gave the most incredible performances, it was surreal.

I love my Rogers angry, I dunno why. I know a lot of people hated Declan and I don't get it. I loved his Roger for weird reasons. I guess his take on the character was just different and I enjoyed it a lot.

Dan Rosenbaum is probably the one Roger I didn't see that I wish I had. I don't think I've ever heard a bad thing about his performance. Jeremy is also very high on my list... and come to think of it, I think I did see him more than once.

I agree with the whole Jeremy/Krystal thing, but I also love a fiesty Mimi that will fight back. Karmine seemed to give him a run for his money.

I also agree that Roger's don't need to be throwing things to be angry, but that an angry Goodbye Love that looks like a table is going on it's side is love for me.

I really wish a lot of you guys could have seen Luke Evans in Rent Remixed, he blew so many of the other guys to play that role in any version of Rent out of the water.Amazing vocal, so much passion and emotion in his face, just amazing.He was a shining jewel in that disaster of a production
