I think it seems a little "lite FM" for MTV, and it doesn't have "stars" in it like Nicole Kidman, Ewan McGregor and Zeta Jones.
Maybe VH1?

Wow. That was incredible.
I have to agree with those that said that it made them a little nervous to have this music video go anywhere near TRL. However, I do hope that it gets on the show only because it would be great exposure for the movie. I'm really excited to see that the studio is pushing the promotion on the film, though. It makes me feel like they really believe in it (as corny as that sounds).

Have you watched VH1 in the last year and a half? There's no longer any difference between MTV and VH1. Except VH1 plays SLIGHTLY more music videos.

i can't wait!!! awww it is going to be amazing...
Kristin Chenoweth could barely control a Great Dane she trotted onto the stage. "Great, they gave me a dog that weighs five times what I do", she quipped. For the record, she weighs 93 pounds, and has a Maltese.

EvelynNesbit1906: I actually think the Idina-in-the-white-jacket scenes are still during the Protest (I have this sneaking feeling they've added something... some OTHER song or speech or performance, since we've already seen bit footage of "Over the Moon" and she's not wearing the jacket - 'cause, while it was fine in the show, they may have wanted to beef-up the protest, since one performance piece wouldn't really constitute a "protest"... hmm.. I dunno.)
Also, Tracie standing in the rubble, I'm guessing, is the VERY first time we see her before "Tango Maureen" as Mark is approaching her to help her with the technical problems. That's the setting they dance in. Just my guess.

I love that each actor gets the same amount of shots, well pretty much. In the trailer, I felt like all I saw was Adam Pascal, Rosario Dawson and Idina. Now its good to see them focusing on the cast as a whole especially Anthony, Wilson, and Taye. I think this should have been the original trailer

MB - "Am I the only one who likes they way all these videos/trailers look but not how they sound? I thought they were going for a more rock/acoustic sound -- but these vocals sound so canned."
I agree. IT sounds very clean.
But I think it looks absolutely beautiful. It seems Anthony is featured A LOT.

I have to agree with superstar. I'm glad everyone gets a bit more screen time in this one. Anytime I get to see lots and lots of beautiful Anthony Rapp I am one happy lady. There's no possible way I could be more excited about this movie. I can't get enough of this stuff. I bet I watch that damn trailer at LEAST once a day. Anyone know where I can find some of the different ones?

There are two trailers; the original, on the official site, and then the new international version - search the board for a link.

AHHHH!!! How brilliantly fabulous! I'm getting so very excited to see "Tango: Maureen" and "La Vie Boheme!" Ok, and every other single second of this movie. Tee hee hee. I'm giggling like a little girl and my tummy is doing some serious flip flops. I don't think I've ever been this excited for a strip of celluloid in my life.

Add me to the list of people discontented with the sound. It doesn't sound acoustic- heck, it doesn't even sound over-produced. It sounds tinny and distant in a way reminiscent of sounds recorded on a cheap computer microphone. And the trailer sounded that way when I heard it on a theater sound system, too, so you can't say it's a computer thing. However, I've either gotten used to that sound or this clip is't as bad as that of the trailers. Hopefully the movie itself won't sound like that.
