Noises Off was JUST revived five years ago, with LuPone, Peter Gallagher, Richard Easton, Katie Finneran (who won the Tony) and (the newly out) T.R. Knight.
Candide was revived less than a decade ago and it flopped badly, so it's doubtful it'll be back anytime soon (it also just had an all-star televised concert last year).
Passion also just had a major televised concert. Though the original won the Tony, it was a major box office failure so it's doubtful there'll be a full revival any time soon (if ever).

West Side Story. Maybe Annie if they can find a bunch of amazing kids. My friend who loves Annie says that Bianca Ryan (the girl who won America's Got Talent) should play Annie.
wow thats pretty deep...did ya get that off a bumper sticker?
I don't know if SUBWAYS ARE FOR SLEEPING needs to be revived but with a re-write of the book it would be fun to see and hear it. I remember trying to get opening night tickets back in 1961 but didn't succeed, and I never did see the show which only ran for 205 performances at the St. James Theatre. It has a great score IMO by Jule Styne and Comden & Green (available on CD) and was directed and choreographed by the talented Michael Kidd. Michael Bennett was a gypsy in the dancing chorus. Producer David Merrick kept it open by playing his most famous advertising trick: he found 7 people in the NYC area with the same names as the newspaper critics at that time,he wined and dined them, gave them house seats for the opening and asked them to give glowing reviews for the show--he then took out full page ads in the newspapers with their quotes raving about the show. Only one newspaper, the excellent NY Herald Tribune, accepted the ad, but the resulting publicity kept the show open. Most of the real critics didn't think much of the show. Maybe the Off-Broadway 42nd Street Moon Theatre which specializes in "Lost Shows" would be interested.
"The gods who nurse this universe think little of mortals' cares. They sit in crowds on exclusive clouds and laugh at our love affairs. I might have had a real romance if they'd given me a chance. I loved him, but he didn't love me. I wanted him, but he didn't want me. Then the gods had a spree and indulged in another whim. Now he loves me, but I don't love him." - Cole Porter
Also: Ragtime Seussical (revamped) Bare (on Broadway)
"In theater, the process of it is the experience. Everyone goes through the process, and everyone has the experience together. It doesn't last - only in people's memories and in their hearts. That's the beauty and sadness of it. But that's life - beauty and the sadness. And that is why theater is life." - Sherie Rene Scott
I would like to see The Who's Tommy revived because I just started listening to the cast album and watching the movie and I just want to see it performed on stage whether it be on Broadway or not.
"Carrie" because it's not a bad show, it just had a bad director.
"Funny Girl" because it's amazing, and because it'll be funny to see all the posts and articles about how the new Fanny isn't as good as Babs (all of which will appear before the show even opens).
Once On This Island, its a beautiful peice of theatre.
and in a couple years, Thoroughly Modern Millie and Little Women.
"Oh look at the time, three more intelligent plays just closed and THE ADDAMS FAMILY made another million dollars" -Jackie Hoffman, Broadway.com Audience Awards
Bye Bye Birdie and West Side Story are LOOOONNNGGGG overdue.
my other long overdue one, SOuth Pacific, is fortunately on its way.w
I'd also love to see The Mystery of Edwin Drood No No Nanette Me and My Girl Anything Goes (though I can wait a bit for this one) Ragtime ( i know it's too soon and unrealistic, but if there's a show that deserves a second chance, it's this one.)
I would love to see Bye Bye Birdie The Bakers wife (re-write needed so i hear) Is there life after high school? and I would love to see Witches of eastwick on broadway (seen in west end and oz)
