Networks will be representing Bridges. It's listed on their site.
Bridges will for sure be touring.
For sure: Cabaret, Ragtime, The Sound of Music, If/Then, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Bullets Over Broadway, & The Bridges of Madison County.
Someone said Avenue Q & The Little Mermaid are FOR SURE touring... I highly doubt it.

That'd be me. I was right about Cabaret touring before the official announcement was made and I know those two shows are definitely touring as well. PM'd you about it, remember?

Houston announced their new season today. They are getting the following:
Pippin Oct. 20-25 2015
The Phantom of the Opera Nov. 18-29 2015
I Love Lucy Live on Stage Jan.12-17 2016
The Sound of Music Feb. 16-21 2016
Cabaret March 22-27 2016
Beauty and the Beast (Season Option) April 27-May 1 2016
Beautiful May 31- June 5 2016
Wicked (Season Option) July 6-Aug 14 2016
Apparently, Houston's bringing in ALL of the revivals! The only musicals touring as its original production listed are Wicked and Beautiful. (Did that make sense? It did in my head!)
I'm curious to see what the Ahmanson is getting. After MATILDa, it's rumored to get a run of LITTLE DANCER by Ahrens and Flaherty in addition to launching THE SOUND OF MUSIC on tour. The Pantages has already announced BEAUTIFUL.
Me too! I see smaller city getting shows that have been on tour. L.A. is one of the biggest tour stops and usually gets all the new shows first.. like Chicago.
I'm at the pantages watching Wicked for the 6th time... don't judge. An usher said that the new season will be announced at the end of this month.

Broadway across Canada just announced the Vancouver season. The Lion King, Dirty Dancing, Once, and Mamma Mia. Ugh...how many times has The Lion King and Mamma Mia come through? Really bummed they aren't bringing new works to town. Guess that shows what kind of theatre city Vancouver is.....here's hoping Seattle has a decent season.
What is the deal with Avenue Q touring? It has already toured years ago. It must have gone to every city in the US because it made it to Detroit, which is the last to get everything.
I haven't heard anything about Avenue Q touring other a friend on here. I've never seen it. It's come to L.A twice, once in 2007 for a month and 2011 for one week. Wicked lost to Avenue Q and I've seen Wicked 8 times already (It's come here 4 times already) I hope it tours and has a least a 3 week run.

I don't really see the market need for Avenue Q either. It's gone through both its Union and non-Union cycles, Playing pretty much every touring venue on the map.on another note Troika entertainment will be producing a brand new tour of 42nd street.
A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder is going on tour officially. I don't like the show but I was getting worried that a tony winning best musical wasn't going to tour.
I think Avenue Q will sell fine. It's been off the grid for a bit, so it's good it's getting back out there. It's doing great business off-Bway so someone still has interest in it.
Gee Ripped.. you are so original.
On the Town is going to tour! http://www.theroadcompany.com/
Wow! That was fast! Then again, the set isn't extremely complicated. I'm excited that people throughout the country will get to see this fantastic production.
I wish shows toured quicker. Like, why not put The Last Ship out on tour? I mean it's closed, they have a long time before Sept rolls around and they'd need to put it on tour. Why not put something together now instead of in a year or two.
From what I remember (I don't have a link), Sacramento Music Circus had it in their annual survey as a show they were considering. As a production, not a tour.
anyone have any news on Les Mis?
I'll believe If/Then & Hedwig tours when I actually see them getting booked in cities soon. Still not believing either one will tour.

The current production of Lemiz was a national tour, I am not sure if Cam Mack has intentions of sending it out again. I thought Broadway was the last hurrah!

If/Then will definitely be touring.

Is Ragtime still going on tour? I'd love to see a production of it.
