Playbill has already posted the accompanying music video as well. It was nice hearing the song first, trying to guess who sang what line, and then seeing who did in the video. Even though it's under horiffic circumstances, this song is for such a great cause. To see all that talent collect in one room (or remotely) for one common goal, putting money and ego aside, is truly touching. My thoughts continue to be with the victims and families in Orlando.
I thought the song was lovely! I don't think it's Bacharach's best work but it's a lovely sentiment. How did they choose the solos? So much talent in one recording, some great ones got missed: Judy Kuhn, Tony Yazbek, Josh Colley and Donna Murphy
"Contentment, it seems, simply happens. It appears accompanied by no bravos and no tears."
Or instead of criticizing the use of song, we could maybe all, oh I don't know, be appreciative that the talented people in our community got together to do this and show their support for the tragedy that occurred last week.
Has anyone actually found it on iTunes? Will the Broadway Records website allow me to download directly to my phone?

Broadway Records always takes an extra few days to get their stuff on iTunes. I really wish someone would teach them how because it's super frustrating.
The goal is to have it on iTunes by the end of day. It's not really in our hands – iTunes distributes when they feel like it, really. Thanks for the great response so far.
IdinaBell, if you purchase it on your computer you can then put it on iTunes (if you have an iPhone). If you don't have one I think android lets you download files directly to your phone.

I agree with the common sentiment here... excellent cause, excellent dedication and execution, excellent sentiment, but a new song would have been better. Or even just a less trite song. Maybe a "Broadway Sings for Change" compilation of protest songs would be welcome- I'd love to hear John Cameron Mitchell take on Elvis Costello's "What's So Funny 'Bout Peace, Love and Understanding."
