Has anyone seen the show in the boxes and in other sections as well? I saw it in the box seats and am curious how they compare to the other sections.

Rushed this yesterday and got G22. Not a bad seat, but I would have missed a couple of short scenes if I didn't move two chairs to my left (luckily the two chairs to my left were both empty). But overall, even if I were not able to move, I think the seat would have a good vantage point for most of the scenes.

But any seat to the right of 22 (G row has that as the rightmost seat, but row H - J I believe have more seats), would probably be partial view since directly in front of those seats is the stage staircase going to the mezzanine.

Planning to go on Saturday. That seems to be a heavier day, anyone do it recently and have a better idea?

@callmesurely did you end up going last Saturday? What time did you get there and how was the rush line?

Planning on going tomorrow (Saturday, 4/15) and would appreciate.any reports of how rush has been lately on Saturdays.

I rushed last Saturday on a whim. I walked past the Imperial about 10:05  and saw the line and decided to join it. I got two box seats house right for the evening show about 10:20. Maybe about 12-15 people in front of me.

I plan on going to rush Great Comet for a Sunday matinee, what is the best time to get in line and what are the seats usually like? I don't plan on going for Dave's performance, just the normal cast.

I want to plan my train schedule so I can get there in time. :)

Rushed yesterday (Saturday) and it was crazy. Got there at 8:20 (box office opens at 10) and was almost 30th in line. Sounds like that was an anomaly though reading past posts. If you want to make sure though, I would get there by 930 or so for a Sunday show. Box office opens at noon remember.

I rushed yesterday (Saturday). I got there at 7:15ish and was 4th in line (but technically first in line for the matinee which is what I was rushing for). I got table seats on the furthest table right in front of the orchestra super far house left. Def obstructed view but still the best rush seats I've gotten because of how close you were to partof the stage. Lots of fun cast interactions.

Are the rush seats so obstructed that it wouldn't be enjoyable for someone who is seeing it for th first time? My boyfriend and I are planning on rush but maybe TKTS would be a better option.

Definitely not. I've seen it 3 times (only ever rushed it, never bought tickets). No matter where you're sitting you're not going to be able to see everything because everything is happening literally everywhere. Everything major happens on parts of the stage that everyone can see. Trust me, you don't miss a thing.

Anyone try rushing since Tony nominations came out? I wanted to rush tomorrow Friday and was wondering how it's been.

i've got 99 problems and a revival of parade would solve like 94 of them

I went today and got there around 8:15. There were already 15-20 people when I arrived, and line kept growing down the block. My seat was B14 which is the front row all the way to the side and obstructed view. Wasn't terrible, but definitely had to move my head around to see the action and missed anything happening in the top right side of the stage. The great thing about this show is there is always something going on somewhere so where I missed one thing, I end up catching something else.

I rushed last week on a two-show day (after the tony nominations came out). I arrived around 7:00 and was about 10th in line.

I was able to get a rush ticket, which was orchestra row C far right. The view was not perfect, but fine to me. Ensemble cast members came very close a few times, and I actually got an egg shaker in the second act.

I'm thinking about rushing this Saturday for the evening show. Now that Tony noms are out, what is the typical amount of tickets given out for rush? If I showed up and was 20th in line, what would be my approximate odds that I would get a ticket?

We were second in line around 5:30 for the Thursday show. The seats were TERRIBLE. Row B seats 11 and 13, I believe they were.

We attempted DEH @ 4am on Saturday (5/19) and noticed there was no one in line for Comet. We returned at 7am and were #13-14 in line. By 8:45, there are 50 people in line.

I was hoping to rush this tomorrow, what time do you recommend I get there? (considering the box office opens at 12 on Sunday and it is Memorial Day weekend)

Around 7 am should be fine. I rushed last Wednesday, got there at 7:40 am and was 11th in line.
