I was just wondering if anyone had heard Sara talk about any future plans to write another musical or even just a desire to somewhere down the line. Her score for "Waitress" is one of my favorites in recent years so hopefully it's something she'd do again.

I have not heard anything, but my guess is she might be working on a new studio album since her last one was in 2019. I think she enjoyed the experience with "Waitress" so I would not be surprised if she was very open to writing another musical. (Hope she does!!)
I remember her briefly talking about it in an interview a few years back, before she went to the West End for Waitress. IIRC, she was experimenting with a few different ideas and said it would be a long time before it would get off the ground.
I figured it would be a long way off if it happens again but I really really hope it eventually does.
Hope she does as well. She's quite a hot property lately, so I wonder if her music has taken a back seat. She will be doing another season of Girls 5 Eva too.
She is friends with Ingrid Michaelson who is doing the Notebook, so I can imagine she wants to give Ingrid her space to shine in this debut. Announcing new plans for a musical would overshadow Ingrid. The two have joked how they often were confused for each other over the years.

Wasn’t she supposed to help with the Sheik Alice in Wonderland thing? But then it happened and she wasn’t attached.
i think her original songs in a jukebox show could be wonderful. “Fire” alone is such a great story telling song.

Has it officially been picked up for season 3? I sure hope so but I hadn't heard about a renewal yet
Add me to the chorus of people hoping she will continue returning to the theatre — in any capacity.

I love music, but I like writing essays more. I am the author of the Explicatory Essay Examples that you have come across. Writing an explicatory essay https://samplius.com/essay-types/explicatory-essay/ can be quite challenging, especially if you are new to the concept. That is why I have created these examples to help you get a better understanding of what an explicatory essay is and how it should be written.

After her success with Waitress as well as her critically acclaimed run in Into The Woods, I cannot see her NOT writing something new for Broadway or even starring in something! She's just so talented!

YES PLEASE.
The score o The Notebook is very much in Sara's style
Ingrid Michaelson has already written perfectly fine music and lyrics for The Notebook. There’s no need for Sara to be involved.
After the devastating reviews of Devils Wear Prada, I wonder if Sara could help in any capacity. I don’t remember if the music or not was destroyed by the critics.

It was picked up by Netflix for a third season and they'll air the first two as well: https://variety.com/2022/tv/news/girls5eva-netflix-peacock-how-it-happened-1235422855/
I'd love to see what her and Meredith Scardino (the created of Girls5Eva) would cook up together.

I guess she ditched this with him and it became that show at MCC?

Ingrid would like a word....
Wonder what it is?
I hope it's something original, but if it's an adaptation I'm looking forward to finding out what the property is and imagining what the score will sound like.
Bareilles is writing the score of SCOTT N HARVEY, a musical romp about the lives of Scott Rudin and Harvey Weinstein. David Mamet will write the book and Peter Martins is directing/choreographing.

This is very exciting news. SB is an a brilliant talent.
I hope she's working on an original show rather than turning another movie into a stage musical

Lol
I’m surprised the Weisslers haven’t been able to convince her to do a stint in Chicago yet, I’m sure they’ve offered her it. Perhaps, she’s just not interested.
