My Aunt decoupaged me a candy dish using logos from current Broadway shows, most of the shows I hate (Lion King, Movin Out, Phantom), but hey, it's the thought that counts. And, it's not really memorabilia but my Mom and Dad bought me an iPod and I'm currently making it the gayest iPod possible by downloading only showtunes onto it.

I'm not complaining
However the trade-off would seem to be that I'm spending Xmas away from my friends and family so I can work and afford tickets to shows year-round.

Surprisingly enough I didn't get anything Broadway related for Christmas this year. I used to get tickets to shows but since I get all the comps now, my family didn't want to 'waste their money.' I can understand completely :)
I did, however, send 5 friends and family members to Laugh Whore, 2 to Chicago and 2 to Wonderful Town.

I got another copy of the Rent OCR, the DVDs of 'Guys and Dolls' and 'West Side Story' (and 'Mary Poppins').
As for somewhat Broadway related, I got a Dell DJ MP3 Player (half full already with showtunes) and tons of giftcards (which will aid me in cutting down my list of cast recordings I want lol)

A 5 lbs. book on the history of B'way that includes information from La Cage Aux Folles to Les Miserables to Oklahoma! to Chicago! It's AMAZING!
Also... A two disc set of ULTIMATE BROADWAY songs. Pretty awesome as well.
And my dad said he's going to bring me to see either CATS or LA CAGE soon.
