I've met Idina Menzel, JLT, Joey McIntyre, Bernadette Peters, Eden Espinosa, Kevin Anderson, Ramona Keller, Cleavant Derricks, Karen Olivo, Jenny Powers, Amy McAlexander, Megan McGinnis, Danny Gurwin, John Hickock, Brooke Shields, and Jennifer Hope Wills . Out of all them, Bernadette and the cast of LW were probably the nicest. Idina was very warm, but signed everything quickly and didn't say too much except "sure" or "thank you so much." Jennifer Laura Thompson was a bit of a goof ball at the stage door, which I loved. It showed that she was a really fun person in general.
I don't Hunter is rude as much as he is very very shy and keep-to-himself. I've heard only wonderful things about him, but there have been times when he seemed a little distant at Urinetown. Not everyone can be on 24/7 and be a people person. Some peoeple handle situations a little differently.
JLT rocks my socks at everything, adn she handles those Wicked nuts very very well. When I was there before the show, these girls like make her a Wicked wall clock--and she dropped it and it broke into a million pieces. You should have seen the girls' faces. It was priceless to mention.

I've met alot, but the ones that I can vividly remember having conversations with are: Euan Morton: so sweet. I met him after SBC in Sept. and at his concerts in November. He had remembered me from SBC and b/c my friend he knew was rite next to me. He gave me a hug and a kiss and thanked me for coming. Kate Reinders: so nice. Met her after a performance of Good Vibrations. She was really sweet and complimented me on my camera when I asked her for a picture. Jeffrey Carlson: such a great guy! Not only did I meet him at Taboo, but after Last Easter and at Euan's concerts in November. He remembered me and talked to me like an old friend.
and of course---Raul Esparza I talked to him once after a performance of The Normal Heart(with the help of my mother, so I guess it doesn't count as much) and then again, by myself after the tribute to Larry Kramer in October. They were possibly the two greatest conversations I've had with anyone, Broadway or not.
I know there are more, but I can't remember any right now.
luvtheemcee, you met Adam Pascal? More than once? Grr...
Here are some of my encounters with meeting Broadway people: -I met Kerry Butler, and I can't believe that I acted so shy, but it was my first time meeting one of my idols. She was really, really nice though. And she always writes back to my letters. -I met Tim Curry after Spamalot, and he was SOOOOOOOO nice. He asked me my name!!!!!!!!! -I met Sara Ramirez after Spamalot, and she was really sweet too. I was all quiet and I was like "Excuse me, would you mind signing my playbill?" and she was all nice and she said I looked beautiful. -I met Eric Idle after Spamalot, and because he was Eric Idle I would automatically forgive him if he was mean, but he wasn't, and he seemed really interested in my opinion.

"Chicago is it's own incredible theater town right there smack down in the middle of the heartland. What a great city! I can see why Oprah likes to live there!" - Dee Hoty :-D

At the Stage Door I met Robb Sapp. He is in the ensemble but he was really nice. He signed my Playbill and I was talking to hom about Wicked and he told me about Shoshana, how it was her firstweek as standby, I think, and the show (I saw it with both Shoshana and Megan. I think it was their first time together.) He answered some questions and was just a nice person. I aslo saw Zach Hensler I think but Robb was much more willing to talk.
I saw Antonio Banderas in New York. He is so mean. A group of kids went up to him and he said something like I don't have the time.
britney spears is known becuz people buy her records...and maybe that person she was rude to ,bought her stuff...so she has to be nice to everyone....every star should be nice to all their fans.she is rich because people buy her records.she has to be nice.

Swifty, I've always heard fantastic things about Antonio. Just because he didn't have time doesn't make him mean - maybe he had to get somewhere. I've seen some of the sweetest people simply not be able to sign because they were pressed for time.
He was going in for an interview at some News station because he was on TV that night. I saw him in an interview. I am sure he is a nice person. He just seemed snobby.

when writing to B'way actors-ok I've brought this up a couple times... but when you send actors a pre-addressed envelope, you have a good chance of them writing back right? I've never tryed it yet so thats why I'm asking...
omg I've met so many stars... not going to list them all but once I went backstage at the Majestic and that was a lot of fun.=-D

I think that's it. All of them were very nice and sweet. A lot of the time I was really shy do I didn't get to really talk to them except for the cast of LW.

The choosing was not...

Has anyone met Patti Lupone? I had this terrible dream, where I was in some lobby and I saw her walk out of a room. I approached her for an autograph, and she jsut shook her head at me and said "No". It was a total nightmare. I love her to death after seeing her in the Broadway's Lost Treasures video. What was she like?
Sutton Foster back in 97- I got an autograph, and a huge hug from her. Christy Carlson Romano 2x- I can't stand her anymore. Her voice is just...irritating. She was kinda rude at the Beauty stage door. AND she gave me her laryngitis. Andrea McArdle- too many times to count. My parents are on a 1st name basis w/ her and her husband. She's the nicest. Paige Davis- she was a total sweetheart. Jennifer Hope Wills, Tia Zorne, and Terrance Mann were walking on the street (separate times)- they were all awesome. LW cast- nicest people in the world! Jenny Powers and I discovered the random fact that we were both wearing $40 jackets that day LOL. Meg McGinnis commented on my hair color. She said she liked it. John Hickok gave me and my mother directions back to Penn Station. Bebe Neuwirth didn't even look me in the eye at the last Flea Market when I asked for her autograph. Jenna Leigh Green let me walk around the Flea Market with her and this other guy. Jen Cody- I sang "the internet is for porn" with her at the flea market auction. There was more, but it's kinda boring. Oh yeah, Chris Seiber called me a lunatic,
the nicest: Eden Espinosa, Karen Olivo, Ramona Keller, Kevin Anderson, Cleavant Derricks, Kristin Chenoweth, Sean McCourt, Jennifer Laura Thompson, Carole Shelley, Norbert Leo Butz, John Tartaglia, Barrett Foa, Adam Pascal, George Hearn, Joey McIntyre, Hugh Panero, Anne Runnolfsson (sp?), Matt Caplan, Sebastien Arcelus, and Mark Richard Ford
the rudest: Idina Menzel (my friend made her a little collage - nothing too fangirly - and she gave her a weird look and didn't say thank you) and Michelle Federer (I asked for her autograph and she glared at me, haha)
"Learn how to laugh.
Learn how to love.
Learn how to live.

I made an ass out of myself in front of Michael Arden and Jenna Leigh Green at the Bryant Park concert last summer... me and my friend were running towards them and I tripped down some steps like two feet away from them. It was mortifying. And then I felt even worse because I wanted to take a picture with Jenna (I already took one with Michael) but I didn't want to interrupt her conversation with Michael or anything, so the whole situation was awkward. Michael ended up taking a picture of me and her but both of them kept giving me weird looks from across the park...
I also had a pretty bad experience with Adam Flemming... my friend and I went up to him and began to tell him how much we loved him in BARE, and he just took one look at us and walked away. He started talking to some blonde guy, who was like, "Hey, I think those girls wanted your autograph or something..." and I heard Adam say, "Whatever". Ouch. I just thought that was incredibly rude.
