But still: I would give my right arm to experience THAT show :)

There are so many.
Chess - I had tickets and it closed the week before I was to see it.
SWEENEY TODD starring Dorothy Loudon, which closed two days before I arrived in New York.
JEROME ROBBINS' BROADWAY, which started previews two days after I left New York.
FLORA, THE RED MENACE - chose to see BAKER STREET instead. Liked it and glad I saw it but now wish I could have seen Liza in her b'way debut..
TOM SAWYER -have seen a bootleg video but would have liked to have seen this on B'way. Had a ticket but it closed before I could use it.
LI'L ABNER -
WITCHES OF EASTWICK (London)
A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC (London with Judi Dench)
WHO'S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF? Uta Hagen

Right off the top of my head I think of Rags.
I had a friend who was making a brief trip to Chicago and he talked me out of going until he returned in a few days so we could see it together. The damned thing closed in mid-week and I missed it because I waited. I can honestly say I've never forgiven him.
Bare!!!!!....But it might reopen....i want it to soooo bad!!
Taboo, Tommy, Urinetown (saw it on tour, though) and Hedwig.
"Thouroughly Modern Millie," "Aida," "A Chorus Line," "Little Shop of Horrors," "The Wild Party." I don't get into the city often enough to see shows.
