Posted: 12/20/05 at 5:01pmUnfortunately, it's Les Mis. I lost count, but I think I ended up seeing it 8 times. That's more than 24 hours spent on Les Mis. A runner up would be the Broadway production of Closer, which I saw 4 times. Otherwise, the most I have ever seen a show is twice. Twice is usually good enough for me. Though I think I could see the current Sweeney Todd again and again and again...

Yep, that's I felt about Chitty as well.
I would say "A Chorus Line" and "The Wiz" followed closely by "Dreamgirls", "Ain't Misbehavin'" (friend in the show) and "Rent".

as of now... but in a little while, I think I'll probably making trips to New York more often than that.

The Producers and The Phantom of the Opera. Both more than 10 times each over a number of years and in various cities across the US. I've lost count and would rather not remember exactly how many times it was.

Some people on this board love Phantom. Others, like myself, think that it's a big boring musical, typical of a much of the work of ALW, post "Evita". It all comes down to taste and personal opinion. Don't sweat it. If you like it that's cool. Differing opinions make for a more interesting world.

Les Mis and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels- tied at 4 each.
except DRS will soon be 5. seeing John's last show.
