Wicked will be performing "What is this Feeling" tonight on Leno.
I'm assuming it will be the LA company and I believe this is not a rerun.
Totally forgot about this. Thanks for the reminder, Tag!
yes it's "LOATHING" or whatever it's called. Saw them rehearsing today. Its LA company.
Definitely did not know about this - thanks for the heads up :)
Hilty looks very stiff.
They sound terrible. I'm not feeling this at all.
PQ was on The View guys!
Alright performance. I wasn't that impressed w/ the Elphaba.
I didn't realize that they changed Megan's wig. I agree though, they weren't as loose as they usually are.
"Loathing"? That's been up for 4 hours and no one has tarred and feathered you?
My mom was watching the Tonight Show. What an awful performance. Do Eden and Megan always sound like that? Yikes.
YUCK! Horrible.
Hilty was especially off I thought.
And the leads could hardly be heard.

i saw the show and they never sound like that. i saw it in LA, i think they were just nervous / adjusting to the space. its a very different set from the actual show, and the space is much smaller. megan did sound a little off tho
Adam Wylie is so cute.
Love that Red hair against that Green shirt.
Red and green go great together. Just as Ariel.
We'll watch it, when it comes on... but it's only 10 here, so we have a while.

Wow. You people are so dramatic.
Just came on in my neck of the woods. It was fine. Not perfect, but by no means the horrible attrocity you made it out to be.
I understand though, it would be FAR too boring of a thread to say they might half done a decent job given that they were crammed into a little tiny space singing in awkward circumstances with cameras gazing on and new staging while singing to millions of viewers nationwide.
Dramatic adjectives are MUCH more fun...
...but musicman, isn't that what this board's all about? It is a BROADWAY message board after all...what would it be without drama and overreactions? /sarcasm
That's one of my favorite scenes in the show, and the performance tonight let me down a little. I thought they did pretty well, though, taking into consideration all the adjustments they had to make for the studio and everything.
But they didn't do a half decent job, so no one would say that. Both Eden and Megan have done TV appearances for Wicked before with cameras and millions of viewers; don't make bullsh*t excuses for them. They're professionals and their job was to be amazing and promote the show so the general public- who don't even know about the smaller stage and choreography changes- will want to make the trip and spend the money to see Wicked. I can't imagine they won over anyone tonight with that performance. It did make me want to rush out and get tickets...if only to reassure myself that this was a fluke and the show hasn't gotten that bad since I last saw it.
eh....the performance was okay.
I think I'm just tired of the show.
I liked it...it was fun to see the new cast. Megan is my fav Glinda...she's brilliant. But Eden...she's just not my cup of kool aid.
it wasn't so bad.....though I haven't seen any of the shows but plans on seeing it in L.A. this summer.
Did anyone record this? I missed it. Someone should put it up on YouTube

Wow I thought it was pretty decent especially seeing that none of the recent talk show performances from musicals have really impressed me much. An odd choice of number for the Tonight Show (were they asked to come in last minute when some band bailed?) but I'm glad I caught it--I really son't see where the complaints are coming from. Then again I'veonly seen Wicked once years ago, don't have it memorised and don't even own a copy of the CD (though I mean to change that sometime) so what do I know
