Bernadette Peters!!!!
or Kristin Chenoweth- I think anyone would have such a fun day with her!
Corine2...I spent an evening with Bruce! One of his best friends lives here in Denver and threw a private dinner party for him when "Hairspray" was in town. He is one of the nicest most genuine people you would ever want to meet. And he is funnier in person than you can even imagine. And he told us some wonderful stories about the biz and people in it! A very memorable evening. I even have a few pictures taken with him! He told me that if I was in New York to see the show, that I could come say hello to him and Carley (Whom I also got to know) backstage. Didn't get a chance to do that when I was there. Was too busy and saw other shows.
Maria Friedman, because she is amazing and I love her.
If not, then Donna Lynee Champlin, because she is genuinely nice and so personable.
Michael Cerveris, so that I could wrap him in duct tape, throw him in a closet and go on as Sweeney. Once they realized I dont play guitar, there'd be a problem, but Patti and I would have fun in the meantime.
Female:
Idina Menzel and I have a lot in common so I think it would be fun to hang with her. Maybe Sutton Foster.
Male:
I met Adam Pascal and he is such a sweetheart... plus sexy as hell. Or maybe John Lloyd Young who happens to be one of the nicest guys I have ever met.
Michael Cerveris and Anthony Rapp, because they both seem like complicated, intelligent people with interesting opinions....
Stokes for the same reason, plus I would do anything to have him sing directly to me...
and Norbert, because I want to talk to him about how he infuses his songs with so much character.
Julia Murney, Sebastian Arcelus, Norbert Leo Butz, or Greg Jbara.

Uncageg,
I am beyond green with envy. I have been a huge fan of Bruce since his one man show at Westbeth. My boyfriend Scott at the time had to cover my mouth I was laughing so loud.
I literally was a fan for life after that show. I have tried to see everything he has been in. I bought tickets to the Lortel awards because he and Julie were hosting.
HE MAKES ME HOWL. I ADORE HIS WIT AND HUMOR.

Well, aren't you a harbinger of sunshine...
I want to say Michael Cerveris but I fear he is way too cool for me. I'd feel like a big dork, bringing him down the entire day, so scratch that one.
Patti LuPone comes to mind. I think she has got enough quirk to make anyone feel comfortable...
Then again, I feel like Sutton Foster would be super nice as well.
OH! no I know. He's not currently on Broadway but I'd choose David Hyde Pierce anyday. Partially for Spamalot and partially for being Niles Crane, what can I say?
Although if I spent the day with him I'd constantly be giggling, not at what he was saying exactly but remembering his lines or gags from both Spamalot and Frasier...that wouldn't be to cool.
So, apparently I don't get to spend a day with anyone because it would just be mortifying on my behalf.

maybethistime-- I agree with Beth Leavel I saw her at the Drama Desk Awards and she seemed like such a big hearted women.
I would also have to say John Lloyd Young. If he is half the person he portrays on stage then sign me up!
