I say we sue her for deception. God it is so easy to hate her.

She claims there was "a script of sorts?" Oh, so, was there a writer who came up with the line, "Is this chicken what I'm eating, or is this fish?"
What a moron.
It doesn't matter whether it was scripted or not. When it was working to her advantage, she chose to allow herself to be portrayed in that light. It's not like she was playing the lead in Newlyweds: Jane and John Doe.
I loathe it when people don't take responsibility for their decisions.
Way for her to say it like a year after her show is off the air. Why does it matter now. Everyone already knew she was an idiot like 2 years ago so I don't think covering it up now is going to solve anything.
In the words of Forrest Gump "Stupid is as stupid does" This is just a very stupid person who just proves it bt opening up her mouth and speaking.
I guess now that Daddy Joe Simpson drove her apart from Nick he wants to drive the negative media attention away from her as well. Sadly lightning won't strike twice.
Maybe I'm new to this whole "showbiz" concept, but if an actress has qualms with her script, doesn't she take it up when she, you know, first reads the script?
Then again, the midwest is far, far from Hollywood and I'm sure the folks there do things in a much more sophisticated and less logical way than I would think. Crazy me.
None of you made $30 million last year.
Jessica Simpson is very smart.
It's funny how she wasn't furious when she was cashing those huge checks.
And, her father is the brains of the operation. She's a puppet.

"Business-savvy" does not necessarily equal "smart." Neither does a huge paycheck. I stand by my assessment.
Anyway, I like the show. Nick and Drew should do a spin-off about brotherly love.
That chicken of the sea line landed her a big deal with a tuna company so that doesn't sound like a stupid move to me.
Tag,I refer you to line #3 of my sig.

whatyouown223: No, actually, it didn't. There was talk of various tuna companies vying for her to be their spokeperson, but she never actually made any kind of "big" tuna endorsement deal. In fact, the only "push" she ever made for canned tuna was an unpaid one. Just to be factual.
Of course, she's had loads of other lucrative endorsements and commercials (who else despises the new Pizza Hut commercial?), so obviously the "dunb blonde" thing she's been working is still doing well for her.
So, my question is, why mess with success? Does she think she'll get more and better deals if we suddenly all see her as some sort of sexpot MENSA member???
Jessica, just stick with dumb blonde. It's working.
Wow, oh how the mighty have fallen.
folks, it's jessica simpson.
exactly
She's just now getting mad about this? Someone wants some PR...
Well I'm shocked, how about you guys? [rolls eyes]
I wonder if the script used pictures for the really BIG words?
And she's bringing this up now, because...?
I don't get celebs sometimes.
She's bringing it up because Nick is entitled to half off all that she's worth and she doesn't need to come across as the dumb blonde in court.
So, is Nicky still available??
