Just Friends turned out to be hilarious, and now one of my favorite comedies; and to think I didn't even want to see it when it was in theaters.
Based on the original theatrical trailer when it came out - I had NO desire to see the movie below. But my friends DRAGGED me (literally) to see it and I found it hysterical.
The movie? My Cousin Vinnie
And if you remember the original trailer - it literally was Ralph Macchio and the other guy getting arrested, Ralph saying he was calling his cousin vinnie and then Joe Pesce slipping and falling in the mud.
The trailer was horrible...

Brokeback was worse than I had hoped for...

Matchstick Men. I was expecting something merely good, what I got was one of the best films of 2003.
mean girls. best. teen flick. ever.
I didn't expect anything from Ice Age, and ended up enjoying it a lot.
La Vita è Bella- I cried like a baby all was laughing hysterically at this film. The Italians do it best!
That Thing You Do
Catch Me If You Can
A lot of Tom Hanks movies pleasantly surprise me, actually.

Galaxy Quest was a nice surprise (much funnier than I expected).
Time After Time
Good Night and Good Luck.
I thought it would be an alright film at first, now I know that it's a really good movie.
Take the Lead
I was so expected it to just be alright and ended up absolutly loving it!
Imaginary Heroes and
A Love Song For Bobby Long
both VERY good movies!
Saw -- I thought it was just going to be another cheesy horror flick but it actually had a pretty good twist at the end I didn't see coming.
The other one was The Usual Suspects. I saw it when it opened in theaters literally because there was nothing else playing that looked interesting when we got to the theater - I knew NOTHING about it going in so wasn't expecting much - then WHAM. Best ending ever.

Weirdly enough, Crash. I knew it was going to be good but I didn't have any idea it was going to be as good as it was. I was a little pissed when it won best movie but now that I've seen Brokeback Mountain and Crash I can tell it definetly deserved it. I don't remember the last time I had watched a movie that got me so emotionally invested.
Mean Girls
The Skeleton Key
Amadeus (I haven't posted here in a while, wow...)
Fun with Dick and Jane ... my brother rented it yesterday and I really had no desire to see it but it made me laugh a lot!

I actually was really looking forward to it, but I was dissapointed. I think I should go into every movie with low expectations, then I would probably enjoy every movie
I see a lot more.
AMadeus is one of my all time favorite movies. I was surprised the first time I saw it how much I liked it also - of course, I was like 12 and why would I want to watch a movie about Mozart???

My best friend dragged me to Mean Girls because she wanted to see it. I was not too thrilled. I'm not exactly a Lindsey Lohan fan. Lo and behold, I come out of the theatre laughing hysterically and loving it. Way more than my best friend did. It is now one of my favorites.
favorite line from My Cousin Vinnie
"Oh yeah, you blend."
Pay it Forward...thought I'd hate it, and loved it.
Casablanca. I watched it at home and completely fell in love with Humphrey Bogart--now my favorite film actor.
