I thought she looked amazing in this Roksanda Ilincic dress. Obviously it will not be the same, but she has such a great figure she will hava big choices
I am actually excited to see what Ivanka and Tiffany will be wearing!!
I absolutely abhor her husband, but Melania is poised to unleash her inner fashion BEAST on the world. She will feature prominently on the covers of the most influential fashion mags and a bunch of folks who voted against her husband will be lining up to dress/style her. And of course, she'll be the talk of NY Fashion Week 2017. Some of the Trumps' biggest haters will figure out how to at least make money off of them.
Well, just as long as something really important happens.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I am just glad that someone is discussing the woman without calling her a slut, whore, or worse. I mean, her husband is the devil in the driver's seat, but she isn't, necessarily. I don't know enough about her to dislike her that much. She certainly loves fashion and is built like a clothes hanger. I loved the palazzo suit she had on last night. I still can't believe that she was wearing it while he gave an effing victory speech, but she looked lovely.
Pretty pretty please don't you ever ever feel like you're less than f**ckin' perfect!
I just don't do the mean girls thing. Melania will arguably be one of the most vapid inhabitants of 1600 Penn Ave ever but that doesn't bar me from from praising her sense of personal style which DC desperately needs. This is the town in which some women believe that they have to sport hideous page boy haircuts and ill-fitting pant suits to be taken seriously.
And for what it's worth, I surpassed my previous personal record of campaign contributions this time supporting Hillary's campaign alone and joined a phone bank a few weeks ago on her behalf. She lost...I've moved on.
Ah yes, because I liked a woman's outfit, I haven't cried and raged and tried to make some sort of sense the hell we find ourselves in.
I am an American lesbian with a wife, a child, and another on the way. My children can't get US citizenship unless I legally adopt them, which I don't need to do, as they are already legally mine. I will have to pay thousands for what should be their birthright. When we married, my wife couldn't immigrate to be with me, as LGBT couples couldn't get green cards, so I had to move to Europe. Today, my entire family voted for the guy who would remove any strides made to protect my little growing family. You have no idea about my fear and indignation. Commenting on something lighthearted doesn't remove any of the weight of what's happened and you have no right to condemn because you assume people aren't responding in a way you deem appropriate on a f*cking Broadway message board.
Pretty pretty please don't you ever ever feel like you're less than f**ckin' perfect!

Where is your fear? Where is your indignation? ....ooh, maybe melania will wear a brown shirt with little crosses on it! Grow the F up."
I think it's clear from other posts that I have a great deal of fear and anger. That doesn't mean I am never going to make a joke again.

Gosh, to limit Michelle Obama, an Ivy-league educated lawyer who used her role as first lady to speak for children's and women's rights, who is smart, funny, highly eloquent etc etc to her clothing... this is so 1950s. Good for Melania to be an ex-model and bring some Barbie glam to the WH. What a great aspirational role model.
