Well damn."
+ Les Mis and something they haven't announced yet. I can't believe that they listened to us when we said last season was horrible. I'm happy Hadestown is coming to the Ahmanson because it feels a lot more intimate than the Pantages and God-forbid the Dolby.

Yep, knew I forgot one!!! Even more impressive. Good lord I wished I lived in LA sometimes. ALL of Broadway comes there, movies galore, theme parks, wtf am I doing in northern New Hampshire????

I think that, with the LA announcement, The Ferryman tour is off. LA, Tampa, and Dallas were potential stops but none of those included it. Plus, the booking office it was using doesn't have it listed on their site anymore. It's still early, but all indications point to this one being a scratch for the 20/21 season.

Unless its the 1 show LA hasn't announced, sadly, this seems true. Really was dying to catch this a 2nd time.

I live here and it's not all sunshine and rainbows LOL but we do have all the things you mentioned and lots of really good regional theatre + the Hollywood Bowl and virtually every artist who tours the country comes here.

The only thing I can relate to you guys, is traffic. Getting in and out of Boston is horrendous. I believe its been voted as the worst in the country now. Speaking of Boston, according to ToursToYou:
Frozen at the Boston Opera House: September 9- October 4
My Fair Lady at the Boston Opera House: April 6-18
Hope more dates pop up there haha. I just reallyyyyy hope we get Hadestown.
I wonder if ferryman would follow a similar path as Ivo’s A View From the Bridge and do limited engagements at certain non profit regional theatres in place of having a true tour.

Three of the show at the Ahmanson are part of "Our New Encore Series and you'll have the option to select one as part of your subscription"
Dear Even Hansen
Aint too Proud
Come From Away
As Les Miz just played in last year's Pantages, I wish it was a bonus option but i'm sure i can find a friend to sell them too. Orchestra seats for cheap. :) DEH will be my encore selection.
Do you have the dates for Ahmanson? Mostly for Come From Away.

Loving all these announcements. Still have to wait about two weeks for Houston but hoping it leaks early like last year. We know we're getting HADESTOWN and I've seen the dates for MY FAIR LADY. Seems like TUTS might also be co-presenting with BAA this year as they've yet to announce their 6th show but their tease coincides with the BAA season announcement. Hmm....

Hadestown - 12/15 - 12/20
The Bands Visit - 1/5 - 1/10
The Prom - 2/16 - 2/21
Cats - 4/20 - 4/25
Cher Show - 6/15 - 6/20
Hamilton (Season Add On) - 5/4 - 5/30
Wicked (Season Option) - 3/10 - 3/28."
I know what Season Option means; is Season Add On basically the same thing? I couldn't find anything in their faq.
Also, no complaints from me; I'm pretty psyched about this season."
I honestly have no idea and have seen conflicting information regarding it. Based on the email they sent which said Hamilton is included and it's an 8 show season, I would think it wouldn't be extra, but that we could remove it and have our total invoice go down. That being said I saw a comment on their Facebook page that it's available to add to the season and remain in your same seats.
I checked my account this morning and while the invoices, or tickets haven't shown up in the 'my tickets' section, the Hamilton date is listed in there so I hope it's included."
I renewed this morning. Hamilton is an “add-on” that is an option to be included in your official season with your guaranteed subscription seats. You had the option to remove it from your subscription if you wanted. I opted out because I don’t love the show and saw it last season anyways. Wicked is a season “option” and you get access to purchase any tickets in the theatre in your renewal confirmation email. Hope this helps clarify!

I was just about to follow up on this since my invoice appeared in my account. If you're considered a 'Star Subscriber' aka set to automatically renew, Hamilton was included in the $150 price increase from last season. I'm guessing there's an option to remove it if you wish to, however I didn't play around too much as I planned on seeing it again. That being said I feel like I saw it for much less last time around and I even upgraded my seat last time. Oh well.
Thanks for the update though! :)

There aren't many better options out there realistically than what you guys got, looking to be one of the best seasons out there. Just objectively saying I don't see much at all to complain about lol but people gon bitch I guess."
I agree! I don’t think the line-up could’ve been much better!
Received my email invite to the 2020/2021 Broadway in Pittsburgh season announcement. The background and verbiage of the image in the invite is always a hint to one of the shows coming. Any ideas?

I would be over-the-top excited, more so about it, than seeing Hamilton again which we’re also getting. Really loved Hadestown when I saw it last year in NYC. Can’t wait to see what else is in store. I think this is going to be another fantastic season.
