You should note which of these are your assumptions vs. legit rumors vs. confirmations...
I don't know who runs BROADWAY NOW & NEXT, but it is my go-to for shows that have announced theaters: http://www.broadwaynowandnext.com

Just curious if you could tell us what your favorite part of the board is, Troy.

Dude, I get it. You've provided accurate scoop here before, but, no offense, your presentation usually sucks. First of all, it's a mess too look at, plus there are a couple of errors, regardless of whether or not the rest is true, which, because of your track record, I'm assuming it is.

Also –– Vanessa Williams + Lucy Liu do not a hit show make, especially in a theatre as vast as the Shubert (POTUS). Let's hope they have some actual stars lined up who will be selling tickets.

Most of this appears to be correct based off rumors I have heard.

How far along is the Cort reno? That will be exciting if the Cort is totally done in time for a fall show (or at least "done enough" with maybe additional work to be done on the expanded wing).

Top Dog Under Dog? Shucked? Was any of that announced?

This is the first I'm hearing of Vanessa coming back to Broadway, where is the corroboration?

I would be a very happy camper if Ain’t No Mo actually coming in.

If that’s the case: troynow continues their traditional of casually dropping industry scoops as if they were already common knowledge. It’s appreciated, but very disorienting!
I adored “Ain’t No Mo” but the Sondheim is a terrible theatre for it.
What’s “Shucked”??
When “Pass Over” was announced, someone on this board incorrectly hinted that there were 2 huge stars attached. My imagination ran wild, and I started throwing out some speculative/hopeful suggestions. Since that didn’t happen, I’m now imagining some of those same names as Booth or Lincoln in “Topdog/Underdog.” LaKieth Stanfield? John Boyega? Jonathan Majors? Michael B. Jordan? Brian Tyree Henry? Daniel Kaluuya? *sigh* I can dream!

Shucked used to be called Moonshine: The Hee Haw Musical.
Music and lyrics by Brandy Clark and Shane McAnally, book by Robert Horn (Tootsie), direction by Jack O'Brien. Lead producer is Mike Bosner, who brought Beautiful to Broadway.

mostly rumors and hearsay. Why haven't the mods locked this thread?

I have been trying so hard to figure out what POTUS (with apparently Vanessa Williams) is supposed to stand for!
