Still confused how Non-Eq Hadestown is gonna work. I mean of course I'm gonna see it (Just saw the tour a month ago today) but confused how it'll look without that lovely lovely turntable

Center Theatre Group/Los Angeles combines Ahmanson Theatre and Mark Taper Forum into one season.  The un-announced musical for summer 2025 will likely, "& Juliet" (National Tour).

If it was & Juliet, why would they hold off on announcing?  The rest of that tour's schedule is out.  It looks like it won't be able get to LA until late September or October 2025 as all Summer '25 is set.

I wonder if it is something else that hasn't yet announced its tour?

For the National Tour of "& Juliet" there is 4 week gap between Portland and Costa Mesa. 

Perhaps those weeks will be for the Los Angeles engagement. 

Still unconfirmed as of late-April, so we shall see what happens.

I know there'll be an announcement for 'Once upon a one more time' in the coming weeks, could that be?

Yes could be.

2025 is still a long way off, but I had such a good time in LA this past March that I want to go back, just not sure when.  It might be nice to be there during the season when there are concets at Hollywood Bowl.

Next time I might stay for a bit in Pasadena, as seems shorter drive to Downtown, & I want to visit Huntington Library and the Norton Simon.  I stayed part of my last trip at Manhattan Beach,  and then when I went to the opera at Dorothy Chandler Pavilion it was about an hour drive.  Manhattan Beach was good for seeing Madonna at the Kia Forum though.

As a DMV resident, I am truly over the Kennedy Center being one of the last theaters to announce its season.

Dreadful season imo but I don't usually like jukebox musicals.

Nothing until late November seems a bit odd

It’s got to be &Juliet - 4 week gap between Costa Mesa and Portland, the haulage truck goes past the Ahmanson to get to Oregon.

Does anyone go and see a show in both Costa Mesa & Pantanges/Ahmanson.

Per this audition notice the non-equity tour will feature a "new tour concept" by Rachel Chavkin. Whatever that means

A new tour of THE MUSIC MAN produced by Big League Productions is being booked for the 25-26 season. Obviously ain’t gonna be the revival production, haha.

The last revival of The Music Man also, notably, had a non-equity tour go out.

Yes, and that non-eq was also done by Big League, no? Interesting that the announcement uses the logo from that revival.

That is the current graphic on MTI's website for licensing the show.
